How Many Different Cell Phones Have You Owned?

probably 4 or 5, started with a Nokia 3310

I met a teen who had run away from a foster house and hopped a bus to London and ended up swapping phones with her when i was around 18. She had a lot of enemies, I kept forgetting I had done the swap and going into my inbox going "why are all these numbers I don't recognise calling me a **** for talking shit about them or stealing their stuff?"

that was a shitty early colour one. Held onto it for years, then got a free smart phone upgrade.

One flip phone by samsung that I used almost until this year And a smart phone also by Samsung that I got around christmas 2014, which is now since a few months my main (and only working) phone.

This is how we humans are screwing ourselves these days.

 

Yup, I actually have a very clear memory of throwing this exact phone because I was fighting with an ex boyfriend. Then I realized throwing it doesn't actually hang up on him so I picked it back up and he was still on the line and the phone still worked perfectly.

 

Yeah those old Nokias were rugged enough to take abuse. One big problem was how easy it was to pocket-dial someone without realizing. I forgot to lock up the key pad, and has a 30 minute phone call to the operator line (number 0). That was a costly waste of minutes.

 

My first was one of those big old Motorola Phones that if you DID manage to put in your pocket your pants would fall down when you ran
Since then I have probably had Fifteen Ish
Works Mobiles are a different matter I break them all the time cos I need to work with it on my person ( no one has moaned yet they just keep replacing them )

 

not a one, but i've bummed a phone call from a stranger many a time

Two. I didn't even have a cell phone until 2012.

 

i'm on cell phone number...5.

two different flip phones from verizon. the first one of those was rugged as fuck. i lost it in the snow for two days, and when i found it, it simply turned on.
then the "Envy 2" which was also a flip phone, but flipped from the side. had that for a long time.

then i finally got a smart phone - a Moto G. broke the screen and bought another (used) one.


i can't believe someone said 15. fuck.....

I've had my phones break, get stolen, go missing forever, inherit other people's phones, etc. I had to get a new disposable T-Moble phone when I lived in Europe for a while.

 

Hmmmmm I havent ever had any and to be quite frank,I dont want one!

 

I'm on my second cell phone. Had a land line up to 2007 around about.

 

My favourite cell phone of all time was, cant really remember what model it was, but it was an early Samsung, a flip phone, downloaded the little noise so it sounded like a star trek communicator whenever anyone messaged

 

my first phone was a motorola with the big battery in 1997.. gf of mine then got the same phone, she still has the same #....
Ive only had 4 phones since then, ... features I like on a smart phone, music anywhere I want, videos, camera, super bright flash light, magnifier glass, number blocking, fraction calculator, boredom breaker..

 

I am on my second one. The first one ended up being no longer supported by the carrier so I had to upgrade to a new one. The upgrade is pretty well the most basic they offered as I do not use a cell much other than so the kids can get a hold of me in an emergency if I am out.

I am not overly keen on phones of any kind.
