yeah, i'm lucky and i know it. i've also driven across canada enough times to know that once you get out of the city, there's some really gorgeous scenery around north bay.
OMG yeah scenery. But it's boring as a city. Would you believe my friend doesn't have a backyard? It's just a deck that overlooks the forest below. A FOREST in his backyard in the middle of the city lol! People live on the lake in the middle of the city! I guess that makes it cool. But still, BC. That's as cool as it gets you lucky bastard.

Sorry dude, that one doesn't quite cut it. Maybe if you start being mean in your posts and put up some ugly pictures (we all have 'em) it will seem scarier. Problem is that you seem from your posts to be generally happy and friendly, which detracts from any scarieness that you may possess.
Hey i know that girl! However i strongly disagree with her. I think North Bay is unique and beautiful. I've been around enough to know that when compared to most other small Ontario cities, there are loads of hip people here and there's plenty of cool things going on in the city all of the time. It's the centre of my universe and i wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Other than Vancouver (or certain parts of it), Victoria and Nelson, no place in BC is as cool as North Bay IMO.
It's cool for you, but you have to understand that everyone in North Bay hates me. I don't seem to be accepted by the hip people and I'm ever so lonely so I complain to cheer myself up.
I don't see any reason why people wouldn't want to be your friend. You're an interesting person! Just keep coming out to the shows, arts openings, etc. and over time you'll be a familiar face and you will suddenly realize that you are surrounded by new and interesting friends.
