wow this is great.. the church is coming back to life.. Roamy has trouble getting into HF, but hopefully it'll be sorted out.. We know it's you Rita using Ranger's username, & it's heartwarming to see.. does anyone know how Kenny is? He mentioned that he was having eye trouble some time before Xmas.. time to celebrate I think

I'm BACK KENNY. I READ YOUR MESSAGE, ALTHO THINGS HAVE CHANGED A BIT SINCE I WENT ON SABATICAL and this new keyboard keeps throwing me into caps..lol


I have been having heart trouble for a time, get two stents put in over Christmas. Then they said I had high blood sugar and stopped feeding me, yummy food, then they said I had high cholestol and stopped feeding me altogether.. now when I get hungry I have to graze on the grass like the other beasts!?

I was fair poorly for a time and had to collect myself together. I was forced to present myself to the ER bc of the chest pains where getting fierce and so I spent from Christmas to New Year's Eve in the hospital

We'll see what happens from here.. I'll stay as long as I'm allowed

Well my darlin' Ken.. I am not going anywhere too soon, I hope, I still have a lot of lovin' and livin' to do.

I have things to do yet. I got some sticks in my heart holdin' a few veins open, so my blood will flow like the rivers run into the sea, my lungs grateful for clean air, not drenched in nicotine (almost 4 years now). Salt and fat free and sugarless to boot. I don't know how to eat anymore.. it's a carb battle from hell. No Butter, are you serious?? no potatoes, really? well I guess if I can't have potatoes, I don't need any butter.. :'( Wait.. what?? No bread either. Ok, well just put me in the damn pasture and let me graze with the cows... no, don't really do that. It's cold.

Snails eat grass , Sparrows eat snails..

 

hi Mary.. I know from fb that you had another health setback.. meds incomplete I think, now you're home again & being very disciplined with the dietary thing.. it's a tough one, but the shock of a serious illness does keep you focused.. wishing you well.. :daisy:
Roamy couldn't get back into hipforums, & for now she's not on fb but she comes back to us.. she's doing a housemove next month, I think, & that's one of the biggest stresses.. goodnight..

 

yes, Thank you Maura, I was lacking a blood thinner to keep my stents clear, so the blood wouldn't get sticky and clog up the works. They told me that most ppl are dead within days of not having the med ( Effient) I was without it for 27 days, so it looks like I am lucky to be here at all.

It is very hard to find a diet that is enjoyable and has some taste. With no salt, no sugar, no fat, no dairy, no processed food or meats and no bread. I am very limited in what I can eat.

I do hope Roamy comes back.
