I think when I first started I was in more of a friend collection mode. Now I'll usually offer a friend request as a show of support. There are quite a few people that I like that I haven't tried to add as friends. You get an alert whenever one of your friends updates their profile feed, so I guess that is significant. Unless you're really soooo repulsed by someone, I don't think there is much point to deleting a friend, unless there is a private albums access issue. I guess it sends the message that you are offended by them.
Yeah But since I came Out ( as a Twat ) I got loads of friend Requests Lol and I dont want too many I accepted the ones I like Though So RESULT
I seem to have less friends than I used to I blame the upgrade, skip and my parents Definitely not me

Hello, and suddenly I want to become a moderator . A couple of years ago I helped a customer to clean up a mess some of his workers had produced. He had tons of, let's say, x-rated pics on his work computer. Well, let me say it this way, there are things in this world you don't need to see. Regards Gyro
Nearly all internet forums have this function.. I have a couple of people who want to be my friend but never talk or chat or ask me anything though, so I don't see why they bothered unless it was to see if I had nudies. Which I don't. Nor will I. Because this is the internet and I might get a job one day and that would be awkward. For my co-workers. LOL
my guess is as mentioned, its one of the default functions of the stock version of the forum software. as fur it function served here, i'm still waiting to see if it does have a useful one. i think at one time, there was a little box on the side that would say if anyone on your friend list was currently on line, and or how many times they had posted since the last time you'd logged in. which again, i'm not sure how or why this would be useful. i guess its great to make each other feel good or something, but i don't see that it actually does any useful thing. i'm watching this thread to see if anyone does come up with one. i'm genuinely curious to see if there is. on fur affinity there's a watch list, which gives you a page of thumbnails and links to the latest images other artists you're watching have posted. other interactive boards use this for similar notification functions. just something for the cookie function to do. cookies being that passive bit of metadata that lets the sever side bounce back what you've already looked at. mark things as you've already seen them or not.
