IF I was the kind to believe in Resolutions, mine would be to change my S/N from "MattInVegas" to "MattInMedicineHat". For a GOOD Reason. Perhaps, the BEST reason!

 

I resolve to stay up past midnight. Half the time I fall asleep before the ball drops, or I go to bed, at the stroke of 12... LOL

yes when i finish all the other payments and own my car i am going to take a vacation from working on her for a while. i am alwys trying to work on her. and i need a break. not to mention when i work and go to school. finding time to work on Old Betsy isnt exactly easy! but Sarah, Angel, and WE will soon ( i dont know exactly when) the updated pictures of Old Betsy i need time to mellow out!

As a joke, I once told people that my resolutions were:
- Keep smoking cigarettes
- Eat more junk food
- Watch more TV
With this list I would have the satisfaction of following the resolutions. Why make'um just to break'um?

Actually I quit smoking years ago, eat almost no junk food and watch little TV.

To paint more...so my sweetie can stay out of that damn rat race.
To grow more...so my soul won't end up in that damn hell hole.
To live better...so my body won't end up in that damn incinerator.
To love more...so my karma won't turn around and kick my ass.

To professionally record my music... mainly focusing on my 12 string acoustic and working at getting a record contract.

To keep on loving Meg for the person she is and visit her in Canada this summer.

To get back on track and attempt to stay a vegan... I'm back to lacto-ovo.

here are 6 tips to lower vacation costs.
1. dont buy that double decker pizza that claims to be the worlds largest.
2. dont go to that bar on the edge of town for the bartender will see your an American and have you spend $45 for a bottle of beer he claims is Wine
3. dont take the luxurious sweep at that world reknown hotel, instead rent a room at that house on the corner of the intersection and enjoy all the conforts of home.
4. dont go to Mc. Donalds, they love Americans in Europe, 2nd hand food and you dont even know it!
5. dont drive the gas is 3 bucks a gallon, let the taxi driver pay for the gas, its his car!
6. dont pay $3 every time you take the elevator, take the stairs or rent a old folks motorized wheelchair and say your 100 yers old and dont have much money from retirement left.

how much do you spend on vacations? to tell you i have never been any farther then Kansas City, Mo! and that is a neigboring state! i love to travel but my parents greally arent the get up and go kind i hope to have Old Betsy stripped ready to be rebuilt and restored! and most important to get back in the Groove! more sleep, more personal time and i will be groovy! have a groovy night WE. I've a couple resolutions, but my main one is making more of an effort in being more positive....

 

i'm totally stealing mine from the bsa:

"Be Prepared"

for what? i'm not sure yet, but dammit, i'm gonna be as ready as possible!!!

 

Try to stay/get healthy.....heath cannot be bought/healthcare can be bought.
