As you all know me===I love pictures...this time I'm posting a picture which i carry close to my heart...
pic is taken in 1977,shortly after my marriage to this beautiful intelligent lady Ruby(from India)
on the pic==left side=my wife,in the middle my aunt Maria and next to her my sister in law Ria..
me and Ruby got married on my birthday on 15-3-1977..and Ruby died in my home in August 2008=heart failure...
that's 31 years of marriage...funny...i got married at age 31,and my marriage lasted 31 years...
Ria,my wife's sister was an airhostess based in Calcutta flying for Indian Airlines..
in 1991 she lost her life in a plane crash on duty==flight Calcutta-Imphal...
i was very close to my sister in law...she was just brilliant,beautiful and very outgoing...
life...is not always a matter of smiles...my aunt Maria died of bowel cancer few years ago....
and me..i'm still kicking ass==sorry for that word...but...I wanna live many years more,travel,explore,and enjoy life...

Hi, friends....I hope you have a happy holiday and all of your Christmas wishes come true.....

I am sort of Christmased out already, but I still have gifts to wrap......a painting i will give an IOU for by New Year's......
A friend is coming over tomorrow and I am making Christmas Eve dinner here, and then going to see Star wars movie tomorrow night , if they are open. They usually are on Christmas Eve....then to neighbor's on Christmas.....They came over with their usual big fruit basket of fruit, crackers,cheese spreads and a gift certificate for a restaurant....I love this gift from them that they hand deliver every year....so my fridge is loaded with fruit at the moment....but having a fatty tumor removed from my gum last week is making it difficult for me to eat much lately.....I may have to have a skin graph there....will know when I go back for appointment next week.....Finns seem to be suseptible to these...My brother had one removed from his head a few years ago...i get mine in my gum with a hard place to go back together....
I am tired, but am just riding waves now....and hoping to get through it all....but with a pretty peaceful heart.......right now. I was thinking of this song last night again......One of my favorite love songs of all time....have a merry everyone!

Over 70 degrees here today...the stink bugs are back....the ticks never left, the earthworms were out after the rain we had lately and I saw caterpillars....If this keeps up, butterflies will be flying around soon and the flowers will start showing their heads.....

I do not like it like this. I never remember it being this warm in this part of the world ever this time of year.....break out the summer clothes.....Another warm one expected for all Christmas, too......

I still have some things to do...my dinner was sensational....lasagne shells.....Movie house was closed for night showings....they had the matinee ones today, and will be closed for matinees and will have night showings tomorrow or later tonight the 25th.....so I did not see the Star Wars movie yet....Have a jolly day, all.....If I have to wrap one more present, and I do....i am going to scream! LOL

Its good to celebrate being kind, love for the world and giving to others. (but I am a merry Christmas lady, even if "they" got the date wrong)

Its good to celebrate the Solstice, the beginning of days getting longer. Everybody has their favorite "holiday"...I like the winter solstice...it is a specific moment I know the New Year, a new start, is a short time away. Lord knows I need that this year...a nice, better start.

yeah, bring on the new year.,..this one was for the birds.....in many ways, it sucked...I am over it.
bye bye 2015...not sure 2016 sounds any better, though.

 

Last night I went to an Italian restaurant that is rated number one in the entire county...The ambience was lovely....the waiter was great.......The bread with the dish of olive oil was out of this world. I tried to get the recipe...I tasted tomato pesto, oregano, basil, but there was something else in it, that i asked the waiter what was in it...and he said, he did not even know...the family secret there.....owned by culinary institute graduates...i orded the lobster cabanero, and nothing there comes with salad...my favorite part of any dinner always, and I did not want to order one at those prices. i never had lobster cabanero before and it was rich....It tasted out of this world, so I ate half of what was on my plate, and could not eat anymore...all of a sudden I felt like someone punched me in the stomach, and I had to lay down....so made it home to fall into bed for four hours....never again....whatever that was did not agree with me.....

 

Someone else orderd chicken parm, and the red tomato sauce tasted like it was straight out of a can of Hunts with nothing else added....barf..... but the red tomato sauces are italian American....not really authentic Italian, and they are not known for that sauce...I am ....which I had tonight and had no bad after affects....LOL

 

back to finishing up presents...... :bigcry:
