You wouldn't see beauty in the contrast if you lived in the slums...

Going to slums is fun, living in them is not.

nothing is regular. i do have this in common with most people though, that i grew up believing what i was familiar with was.

if i threw a rock from the roof of the one place my parents were ever buying instead of renting, i might have hit a deer, or some smaller furry creature,
but more likely it would have landed on a blackberry bush, one of several varieties of pine and oak, or another rock.

where i live now, it would probably land on someone's car. this would not be a good thing.

If I stand on my roof and throw a rock, I'd probably fall off.

If I stood on my roof and threw some rocks, I'd hit them with my mower next season...

I live in a private owner's association. The first section of it is nice houses built on foundations. Then it's less nice but still okay-ish houses on foundation with trailr houses sprinkled throughout (that's where I live), and then past my street, it's nothing but trailer houses as far as I remember. The jerks in the nicer houses act put out by us in trailer houses, like we decided to move them out here.

I'm in "that house" that lowers the surrounding values :p

    and idgaf

everyone else is always renovating...nothing here gets fixed until it breaks

nearby places within rock throw distance vary from roughly 120k to 500k

the ones in the more expensive places tend to be the goofs
