There is a guy out here that has little over 2 acres about 15 minutes from town for sale. It has a motorhome and a little add on, a year round spring with a tank and has a gate. It is between 2 cities and very quiet area. He said he would take $3500.00 for it all. The motorhome even has a generator too. PM me if you want to know more and I am gonna get pics from him. Good way to spend the tax return this year and taxes are less than $20.00 a year.
it would be nice to know what state, country it is in. is he selling the land, or just the trailer? 2 acres of what? rocks, swamp,forest, arieable land . . . what two cities? theses are important things mate . ..
It is 90 miles from Springfield MO. It is close Willow Springs and Mountain View MO. This is for land and all. The land as all trees, no swamp, hilly good for small animals and raised beds. Lots of things here to network with. No building codes in that area either. Taxes are under $20.00 a year, going to take pics for him tomorrow.
The generator is gas and pretty good sized. I have camped there with a few people for hunting. Awesome deer and turkey in the area, rabbit and squirrel too! It would be something in my opinion a great little start for a person willing to rough it a bit. There is a little wood stove too in the add on. Has a small little coverd porch with a rock patio. There is jobs in the area at sawmills and such that pay pretty good for here plus there is a farmers market a natural food store and such. I may end up with it myself if I need to invest some money. I need to see what the goverment says as far as how much taxes I have to deal with. There is a group called Ozark Action out here for help with jobs and training and energy assistance and stuff too. Lots of flea markets and craft places that let you sell. Climate is not too bad, cold here right now but goes by very quickly. Library has computers and such. Homeschooling is allowed and there are support groups. There is enough churches here to make you puke! Lots of fishing, good fishing too. Well gotta go!
woooo you didnt say it was in the ozarks. i love it there, but you can still find land in arkansa for dirt cheap. my boy hooked up with 60 acres wilderness for 18 grand, thats more my style.
Yeah land around here for smaller parcells is anywhere from $1500 to $3000 an acre. Larger land $1000 to $1500 and really big about $500 to $700 an acre. Land value or sales prices have jumped here in the last 4 years. I just thought I would pass on the information to others, it would be a rather cheap jump into place to get a start in life.

squakers land is cheap in the ozarks, water is clean, alot of virgin forest too. if you want 2 acres, then that deal with the trailer is good. if you want 500/acre, you need to think about 10-20 acres at least. i prefer the land in southern ohio/ NE kentucky for my farm, and you can get it cheeeeeaap too. but you have to buy in bulk. ive heard of of people getting together to do it. say 4 like minded couples get together and buy 100 acres, split it up and you have kind neighbors, and yall got the kind price on land.
