I don't think I have ever known anyone who actually owned snakes.

At my home in the country I have a back entrance to the basement and I always have snakes in the wood in there. I get to see all the little baby heads for a while until they all leave for the winter. Bonus is no mice.

 

My forearms are not enjoying the cooler weather. Fibromyalgia sucks.

These are them, Heat

 

This stuff is too small... Small stuff burns real fast and makes incredible heat. Hot enough to damage the woodstove and furnace.

 

Wow they are gorgeous. Interesting to see the belly being so clear of markings.

Markings are so clear in those pictures.

very cool snakes....i have more snakes this year on the property than ever before.....saw a corn smake a couple weeks back....my dog stalks them in the long grass.........he waits at the edge of the long grass where he hears there slithering and when they pop out he steps on them.... they give him a little nip and runs away

 

I've introduced my dog to them. He tried to bite it haha. Being my pets, I don't allow that He is a hunter, so I should've expected it.

Fact about me: I own a 10 month old Dachshund named Jax (In my profile)

 

sons fan lol....my sister has 2 dasch's and a great dane puppy

mine is maremma/pyrenese cross and leaning his buck-plus on my foot atm

Thanks. Alot of times I can work out the pain. If the muscles get achy from cold, they need some circulation. Sometimes moving about is no worse than just sitting and hurting.

I just washed dishes in super hot water and they feel some better.

I am older than you are and I probably have not cut grass either, unless I did so as a kid with my Dad's old push mower (not motorized). I have spent most of my adult life in rental units and the landlord always took care of cutting the grass.
