I'd like to throw my two cents in here because i have uniuque prespective you likely won't hear often. I do not cite the rhetoric of someone who has formed their opinion based on others opinions, but rather cite my own feelings on the subject having experienced it. When I was 14 i got circumcised due to a tight forskin, and body image issues. I had the option to stretch it myself, through medical devices, or get it loped off, and I wanted it gone so my penis would start to look normal like in all the porn I had seen. There are things in my life that i am embarassed about, would never care to mention, and certainly don't wish to even think about, but i accept them as the learning experiences that they are. Of these mistakes, there is only one thing I truly regret, and would take back if I had the chance, and it's getting circumcised.

The tip of the forskin was how i used to masturbate, it was the most sensitive part, and I lost all those nerve endings. I also lost sensitivity in the head of my penis, it is no longer shielded when not in use, but rather constantly abraised by whatever article of clothing I am wearing. I can not so much as feel a tongue running over the head of my dick, I only know when i am getting a blow job if I am watching, unless her lips are further down, around the shaft. being uncircumsized is also far more normal than i realized as a boy, after i got cut i found out many of my friends were uncut too, and the circed dicks i saw in porn were not the standard. I have two boys of my own now, and neither are cut.

I never had any issue keeping my dick clean, that is a garbage arguement. If that were truely an issue, why don't men laser the hair off their armpits? Surely they know the hair there traps odors and bacteria, and shaving it would be much more sanitary

 

Actually it was. The doctor in question was Dr Kellogg - he of the Cornflakes fame. He ran a lunatic asylum & he believed masturbation was a root cause of insanity so in order to control it he had all his male patients circumcised. Furthermore, as he was a wealthy doctor of some note, gullible members of the public held him in high esteem & pre-emptively would have their children circumcised at birth. This has since become part of the US culture.

Also, when he invented his famous cornflakes he believed that these, too, when included in his patients' diet would stem the desire to masturbate.

Yes do it! I had it done at 40 and am glad I did. Can only cause medical problems later in life.

 

The person in question is an adult, so it is their choice, but matter of factly it is genital mutilation, nature put it there for good reason as a protective covering, for similiar reasons as your eyelids over your eyes. It has thousands of blood vessels and a lot of nerves too, there's good reason why baby boys scream when it happens. It's npot actually necessary, the reason why it was originally advocated here in the United States, was not for hygene, but to discourage masturbation, yep look up who Dr John Harvey Kellog was. Did you know that baby girls also were once circumcised in American hospitals? If those uncut men have problems keeping clean? It's not because they are uncircumcised, but because they are not very hygenic people to begin with.

I was circumcised 14 days ago as a necessay mediacl procedure..

Apart form teh pain nad teh sheer discomfort.

The Sheer hormonal overload that has me thingking about sex like a horny teenager 24/7 and being incredibly frustrated due to the Healing wound and THE sudden onset of COMPLETE erectile disfunction .

Do a google search on Erectile disfunction and circumcision and Im not so sure you will be so keen to get it done..
