cool upbeat sounding song on radio as i am still in this room cleaning....worst room of the house to clean. I hate it...cannot wait until i am finished with this room.....too many things in here......to clean.....taking forever...... ....

and it is funny...that song was followed by "another folk song", I never heard before.....This new radio station I found is playing some good things at this hour here....I am tired...may have to finsih this room in the day tomorrow. I have done 3/4 of it, though, so that is good. Have to start another room tomorrow night...and the last room on Thursday...Friday is changing litter boxes and starting to cook. Saturday is dinner party and Sunday I can collapse....lol

I do feel at home here.....but I cannot think about picking any rooms right now. I am thinking about what I have to do still here today and the next few days......I have to clean every little thing in any room for me to say i cleaned the room...not just vacuum floors and windex windows...it is a long and tedious process and exhausting....here....I don't do this kind of cleaning too often....I actually decided to have a dinner party here to force myself to do this kind of cleaning this summer...i could not stand it anymore here...and now that things are shining around here already, i am in a much better mood.....and things do not shine for too long with my animals living here......They already pissed on a blanket on the floor I washed last night....DAMN!

 

I saw cracker in concert a couple years ago. Camper van beethoven opened for them. David had a long night but he was awesome in both sets.

Hi Kenny. thanks for the welcome. I enjoy the forums immensely. I don't feel like the last hippie on the planet, finally.

We were a shining bunch, weren't we? Hippies... Peace, Love, Brotherhood... all that outdated jazz.

We had the best music. The best drugs. For a time, the world was full of possibilities and change.

So many of my old friends became Republicans, with time. I suppose it's tough to raise children in a VW van. Life happens. Ideologies bend themselves to practicalities.

It makes me smile to see the young hippies that post here. The world needs more hippies...whatever their age.
