Not for guys (to whom they're primarily targeted at I thought)! At least here they have not been underrated by guys for the last 2 decades
Not a timely comparison and better can only be a comparison between objects. There is no comparable value to nothing. Better than nothing? there is no reference point in nothing. Better would apply to the relative comfort of the person wearing or not wearing a shirt.
No, it wasn't. I simply noticed that in post #23 you made reference to yourself as the grammar police. And me, being the ever curious soul that I am, did wonder what that was all about. So, I went back to see. And I saw that you spent three posts on the first page dogging someone about grammar (creepy). You'll have to forgive me for spotting your error in post #29, but leaving out apostrophes just really sticks out like a sore thumb, and it makes you look uneducated. And good luck with your next tablet.
there may be variations in local dialect of meaning. moobs would fall into the catigory of love handles, where as muffin tops, refer to the upper buttocs expose by low riding lower garnments. this is the local usage with which i am familiar. undoubtedly other interpretations may exist in other localities.
Some muffin tops can be cute and also, if a chick does that and doesn't care I think that's a stronger women in a sense, I might even go chase that and eat all the cream.
I agree with that. It all depends how the woman feels about her 'muffin top' herself and acts upon (or is because of) that. That being said, lovehandles are more often cute. But maybe that simply is because most women with these so called muffin tops are insceure about it, which on itself can be the biggest turn off, where as lovehandles seem easier to accept. The most ghastly is people publicly enforcing such insecurities because of their silly demands and expectations how other people should be.
As a girl who is a bit bigger I really think people should know how to dress for their size. If your pants fit properly you have no muffin tops (coming from someone with big lovehandles). I see muffin tops as a sign of insecurity; Someone who is too scared to grab pants off the rack that have a bigger number on them and perpetually trying to convince themselves they are smaller than they are. I have accepted my size and love how I look, so I no longer buy tiny pants that squeeze me in all the wrong places. Besides, muffin tops are normally accompanied by ass crack when you sit down, and a stupid jiggly dance trying to get them back up when you stand again. Not a fan.
With the insecurities though, seems odd that you'd be embarrassed to buy bigger clothes but then not embarrassed to wear smaller clothes in public that produce the muffin top?
People who try to fit in a size that does not suit them are generally unaware of a better option, or have grown to believe for some reason it is not for them. It's exactly like Matte says: they don't know how to dress themselves (reason why seem to differ, sometimes they simply seem so insecure they don't dare to try something different but better...). But yeah, to me it is also kind of odd they keep going for the wrong clothes. I guess taste and perception really is subjective A woman with a potential muffin top who knows she is beautiful (and how to show it I guess, otherwise how would she really know it is objectively so) can easily become at least as attractive as the next lady that just happens to have the 'ideal' size.
why are gender assumptions even being made? i'm saying that retorically. i don't really want to know. logic and universally mutual and impartial considerateness, are better then love, hate, ideological or religious fanaticism. (affection is really good though. it just isn't a substitute for consideration and logic, nor any kind of excuse for religious or any other kind of prejudice) this is the which is better that interests me. also solar, hydro, wind, geothermal and the like, are better then oil, coal or nuke. (yes nuke is way better then coal, but it still has real problems, and mobile devices powered it tend to be sent to other planets) and of course solar powered narrow gauge railways are better then cars and the paved roads they run on. (for nearly every reason imaginable)
oops...how did that happen? Wrong thread. i was in the other thread where I wanted to put this when I logged on....perplexed here. Ok over to other thread now where I was.
