I just realized I've been posting on here for 14 years and I was 14 when I joined... oOoOoOoOoOoOo illuminati confirmed...

Thanks to various goof ups and name changes, my path is difficult to plot. However, I have a post that proves I was around in 2002. http://www.hippy.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=187 Throat a mean weenie Bub! Here's the rest of the book http://www.hipforums.com/forum/topic/455666-the-epic-stoner-novel-continues/
I just realized that I have not actually been a member since I was 14 like I thought, but since 2005 right before I graduated. But I distinctly remember lurking from the time I was a freshman in high school, so 2001. Illuminati not confirmed? Oh well. Still a long-ass time.
^ Ok, so maybe he's a pedant. However, the inability to distinguish between homonyms has become so rampant, maybe we need a little pedantry. A gentle reminder that "coupe" and "coop" are different words doesn't seem so bad to me.
I think Pressed Rat has been around here the longest, since 1999??? I've been here since 2001, under a different user name though.
him and obviously skip, were here before i was. and i was here in 99. not sure when the site started, but it was already, had already been a going thing when i found it. there was rat and i think orson, who may have been called something else at the time, though i don't at the moment remember what. most of the ones who were around then, are either gone or have changed their names, and i've never been able, or serioiusly tried, to keep track of who renamed themselves as what. but lots and lots of names have come and gone since then. some i remember, but most, i've never been good at keeping track of people on this earth. there was a woodstock nostelgia site that had a link to a place called zenbazaar, that had a link to this place. that was in 98 or possibly earlier. i'd only had internet three or four years at the time. before then, i'd been kind of homeless, for most of a decade, beginning in the late 80s, during which the internet had gone public and become a real thing. before then, in the earliest days of personal computing, it had mostly been a shared dream among a small, socially unnoticed, handful of techno-nerds and dreamers.
next april will be my ten year mark and I laugh at the stupid mods who have been here only a few years handing out warnings to us vets. yes we are untouchables yes I said stupid
