Is it an .ico file, or sometime like a .jpeg, or .bmp?

If it is a .jpeg, or .bmp (which I assume it is since it opens up the pic when you click on it), you'll need icon editing software to change it to a .ico file.

 

its says it an .ico in properties

Maybe it opens because it's not associated with a program to open yet.

On older windows versions, I would right click the program for which I was trying to change the icon, then look through tabs in the properties until I found "change icon " then I would search for the pic and select it.

hubby has to call the mechanic back. hes at work at the moment. they are family run, we've been taking all our subarus to them for years, whole family. mom runs the desk, pop runs the shop, and son is going to take over eventually.
my phone didnt ring, but "mom" left a message. she says " i dont have good news hon." that seems dire, makes me wanna cry. i hope hubby gets back to her soon.

I'm fortunate enough to be able to get the surgery I need, so it puts things into perspective when there are people who need surgery but can't afford it. The periodontist claimed they would be able to get my gums back to about 100% of what they were, so I'm not worried about my gums, just the prospect of quitting!

 

Got the front patio/garden mulched... Made a good batch this time so I lightly covered over the last batch while I was at it. Got about 1/2 a wheelbarrow load left over. Once I get the planter built it will be theoretically done out there.
