The greatest part about the invention of the internet. Is future civilizations looking back at our time period, have so much shitty evidence to go through to study us, it will take our desendents generations

 

One really big superpowerful EMP (or similar wotsit) and the entire internet will be wiped. It could be restarted afterwards, of course, but the early decades would be lost forever.

I guess if you really want no one to view or post on a thread, you have to name it something like, "Help me! Help me please!", or "Your civic duties".

Easy - make hundreds of threads with identical boring titles & identical boring first posts, and half of them will get no replies at all. Some will even get zero views once people realise they're identical and boring.

(NB - I'm not suggesting that anyone should actually try it, I'm just observing that doing such a thing would achieve such a result)
