But you are not addressing the concept of singularity lol

This was interesting, just pointing out that it is part 2 of a series though

The idea of the universe being continuos/cyclical, ever repeating as opposed to the multi-verse model is intriguing.
So is CCC the study of the effects of previous eons entirely?

    Then you're misunderstaning my point

Watched the CCC video, Seems like splitting hairs in not considering this a multi-verse theory. I find it fascinating that Penrose ascribes to Hawking's original assertion of Black Holes completely destroying information.

    Indeed

it isnt a multiverse theory in the sense that they arent parallel universes existing "at the same time" ... but i guess that could be considered splitting hairs depending on how you look at things.

Yah but that's like only a type of multiverse conception. There are some which echo CCC pretty closely.

    Inflationary
The inflationary multiverse is composed of various pockets where inflation fields collapse and form new universes.

    Cyclic theories

    Main article: Cyclic model

In several theories there is a series of infinite, self-sustaining cycles (for example: an eternity of Big Bang-Big crunches).

I've always said that the fact that we exist shows that singularity is impossible. Space-time-energy-movement-magnetism-gravity are all aspects of the same thing, and it is eternal and infinite.

What does that mean then? We do away with Einstein's theories of Relativity?

Not at all. While our math might fail us at zero point between cycles and to infinity, space-time-energy being one thing is precisely what relativity is showing us.

    Still all speculation

Yes, it is, but hopefully, when Planck begins sending data, we will have a better idea.

I am not smart when it comes to culture and all science is cultural understandings. I would say the universe spawned from itself existing in a timeless dimension where everything always existed in infinite forms. Not sure what the Universe even is. Seems there is the heart of the matter, then then there is some sort of wild free for all.

i have no problem with that possibility. it is only our ego that insists everything has to have a beginning and ending and we have to somehow know about it.

the forming of galaxies and their collapsing back into super black holes, which periodically semi-big bang back into matter, the whole process being cyclic and eternal.

perhaps something larger then galaxies. maybe the whole thing. or this slice of it. completely new rules for how it works every time. and yet eternally continuing to do so.

on a cycle so long of course, such a duration is so inconceivable, it can only be expressed in vary large numbers with very large exponents.

sure speculation. in one sense, everything we know is speculation. but with one more little thing.
we can sometimes determine that some speculations are more likely then others, and by how much.

actually science is a means of exploring beyond the limitations of culture. engineering and technology are culturally driven as to how this knowledge gets applied.
