The buzzards are back... Spring is here.

 

Birds were starting to sing in my street again too. Clear sign of spring. But I didn't hear any the last 2 days

 

Waiting for the maintenance crew to come through and do their "inspections" someday today or tomorrow according to the letters posted yesterday on resident doors.

Having a little anxiety. I hate having strangers roaming in my home. Their inspection usually has to do with the water (landlord pays water bill and always finds some reason to squawk about his bill--otherwise, he doesn't care about a single thing in here...hasn't changed a filter or checked a smoke detector in the several years I've lived here) Last time they were supposed to do inspections, I stayed home all day from work and they never came at all.

Good thing I can work from my computer today. Still wish they'd hurry up and get the show on the road if they're coming...

finally maintenance crew is done. they just had to check the outlets near the water areas to make sure they had been changed (it was done maybe three years ago appx, and they have already checked it twice since to make sure...but they keep misplacing the notes/clipboard they wrote it down on. lmao. efficiency!)

now I can get back to my regularly scheduled anxieties

 

I hate setbacks that are out of my control yet affect me greatly....

 

Yeah, me too. I suspect I might have control freak tendencies in some ways. :-/

lmao that video is of me for sure. that must be a hint, huh? ;-) well, I have one last thing to share and that is it for the night...I spoke with the landlord of the house near the beach that I mentioned the other day (in my status, I think). Its about $100 more/month than I pay now, but I am going to try to swing it. Maybe. Going to see the inside in a couple weeks, can't move until June 30th anyway. AWESOME SAUCE! I can't believe its affordable! (You don't know me yet, but I've been looking for a way out of here for a very, very long time)
