I don't quite understand the logic of thie forum, there is other places on this forum that do, art, movies books, etc. But it seems like there is tons of posts who is a real hippy or hippie, and who isn't or who is the bigger one, who has the longest hair. It just dosen't quite make sence. A hippy to me is someone who really wouldn't care about any of that, a hippy to me is someone who belives in peace belives in change, belives in natural ways. Not long hair, or dreadlocks even though I do have long hair and dreads myself. They don't have do smoke pot or partake of lsd, or even be alive in the 60's. First last second best. It's all hippy to me. Hippies were only called hippies from a critic who didn't know what to call the uprising in the 60's. If you all don't know there is still the same amount of uprising, it just dosen't seem so substantial since the population is so huge. There is strikes everyday. People talking about peace. Everyday. There is the rainbow gathering I attend as often as I can. There is music, bluegrass, classic rock. Tons of stuff that contributes so largly to the hippy community that it's amazing. It seems like such a place was orginially created for people who thought they were hippies in their own mind to come here. Most hippies don't even know they are hippy, and are just called that. Some people are so hippied out, and don't even like being called a hippy. You all may have no respect for me here since this is my first post, but I'll tell you that to me, hippies are more open minded then this forum as struck me. edit : Now don't get me wrong folks, there is alot here that is pretty cool, and I can respect that, I came off a little harsh. But The first few posts I clicked on had something discriminating on it. There is cool things here, I would like to look about and see what's it's more about before I take absolute judgment. well, see mostly we've littered it with random things on our mind, because this forum gets a lot of attention, and i suppose that is what most of us want. lol. i wouldn't get too upset over it tho.. there's really not much you can do.. i think i tried a few months ago hahahah.
At least, and without question, all these logics are unequivocally, and inescapably, 'related to themselves'.
What do you expect? Talking about "hippies" is boring... but so are 90% of the threads here. Oh well.
