That looks like an interesting book. "The drug war is over. Drugs won."

You say there is something different about the IV ROA - because there is something different. It's a line that's crossed into a more serious and more dangerous level of drug use. I think in some cases, like GB's, the IV ROA is just that and not much more. For other people it's a step toward ODs, other health problems, arrests, ER visits, fucked up relationships, and so on.

Never IV'd any drug either. I hate needles and would not trust myself to inject right. There is a few drugs like Ketamine that I would be curious about. But I would feel pretty dirty doing it and like somehow I was making my nurse mother sad. She already has enough of a problem with me swallowing drugs lol.

 

June, probably 2013:

I got to the venue (deep in the woods) Thursday evening. Set up a very nice campsite less than ¼ mile from the stage. Worked until 10 unloading and starting set-up. Worked all day Friday setting up the stage, dance floor, and dome. It was really hot and I was really tired. Gator-Ade saved my ass. Worked the gate for 3 hours into the night. Divine moments of truth later. Hung out by the dance floor, but too tired to dance. To bed before midnight. It was soooo hot where we were.

Saturday I went in to town and had a shower, which was amazing. Back at the gathering I gave a workshop Saturday afternoon and then hung out at our campsite for a few hours. Some very nice people were in and out of our place and I was gifted in several lovely ways.

About 5 in the afternoon took 28 mg 2C-I with one of the people camping with us. It was coming on within the hour and kept on going higher and higher and higher and… We were lying on our mattresses in another amazing (but at least for me, indescribable) psychedelic haze for an hour or two, but the music (chill at that time) was so incredible and insistent that I had to get up and go.

We danced and hung out for awhile, then back to campsite.


Later, when it was completely night dark I went back to the dance floor. The walk to the dance floor was a deep psychedelic experience. Lots of people had LED lights at their campsite (I had a big white heart with red lights on one side and white on the other – it was hanging from a tree and would turn slowly in the breeze). So there were all these pretty lights and otherwise it was just black and the stage ahead, black-lighted, sparkles, light show, incredible decos, and the music totally psychedelic. People dancing in the darkness – me too.

And then I got to the dance floor and danced my ass off for awhile, then went to the side of the stage where the DJ list was and while I was there, several of the people we’d been with in the afternoon came over. The woman and I were dancing and then the man and I sat beside the floor (I was dancing sitting down but he was deep into his trip, basically sitting there vibrating), but the woman kept dancing. And this is how it seemed: she danced some for me, with parts being sexy and parts being otherwise beautiful. It was like she was doing it as a beautiful gift to me, nothing more and nothing less than that dance in that moment. I’m far past the age when those sorts of things happen, so it was very far and out and very sweet for me. Or maybe it was all ideas of reference. Whatever, it’s ALL GOOD.

We had thought to flip, but with all the work, dancing and whatnot, I was wasted. Back at the campsite my friends and I laid around talking, smoking and just being and somewhere around 1 or 2, drifted off to sleep.

Sunday I worked until after 5 on the teardown and then hit the road to home.

June 1, 2013:

my brother and his girlfriend were visiting my wife and i, from halfway across the country. a special occasion, regardless of the miprocin we all indulged in that evening. it was my 3rd time taking 4-ho-mipt, and everyone else's first. i took 16 mg, my bro 15, his girlfriend 13, and my semi-drunk wife took 10 mg. we had an incredibly fun night mostly in the living room of our apt., where i sit now typing this. we ended up doing "yoga" on the floor while taking turns choosing the music. and we went for a night time walk in the rain. quite a recreational, social trip....in contrast to the solo trips i more frequently take part in.


June 15, 2013:
i ate 23 mg miprocin and had a pretty interesting solo trip listening to music in my computer room.

i took 26 mg 2c-b on my way into a free outdoor concert of my FAVORITE band - Built to Spill. it was my first time seeing them, and although i found the psychedelic effects of the 2cb to be on the weaker side, i still had an Awesome time at that show. my brother and best friend were there too, but didn't trip.

June 1, 2011:

i took one microdot of LSD, a supposed 150 ug, while on an island in Alaska! i had a great time exploring the rainforest of that little island with my brother, while taking pictures and listening to modest mouse on my headphones. i continued to have an excellent trip on the way back to the cruise ship, in the lifeboat - imagining all kinds of wild things happening..like "what if this whole fucking boat goes down right now?!" trip continued well into the night, swimming and fine dining on the cruise ship.

took 2 hits of 2010 hoffman blotter. i went to the park and explored the scenery. i experienced strong "sense enhancement" but no visuals. was a pretty solid trip none-the-less.

 

anyone else like to trip in June? or pick a month, and i'll tell you about it.

 

^ I don't think I posted it before, but I sure could have. A lot of the festie trips are like that. At that one I had a MAPS table with info and selling books. A girl who was tripping hard on mushrooms hung out with me at the table for a good while and when she left I gave her a prayer adapted from St. Francis of Assisi. She contacted me yesterday for another copy, having lost what I gave her. There's a lot of good psychedelic/ hippie fellowship at these things. 7 of my 30 trips have been in June; more than any other month.

i think i've tripped the most times in July - usually on LSD. that's when my annual camping trip is.

followed closely by December: 5 out of 10 Dec. trips were on 2c-e. that's why i was always so fond of 2c-e and winter.

 

I don't have any legit winter trips cause I was in Texas! Now that I'm in Colorado I need to bust out the stash when the next big snow comes in.

 

i really think 2ce shines in the winter. it tends to make me very warm, which has been more than a little uncomfortable during the summer. i liked to take long walks during winter nights on 2ce..the snow brings out the "sparkly" nature of the 2ce visuals. maybe 2cb would work sort of the same.

or maybe i just happened to receive 2ce for the first time in the winter of '08...so i just so happened to trip a shitload of times that winter

 

IV drugs, eh.. cocaine, heroin, tried paper acid but it didnt do anything maybe metal and water made it useless. did remove the hit from the spoon and ate it, but I followed it with more hits. impossible to tell ..

not really a fan of tripping in the cold anymore. I do like tripping in 70s and high humidity. When it rains on a hot day or night and steam is coming off the streets.

Picked up a copy of the doors of perception, which I've never read, off the free book table (along with of mice and men, leaves of grass, and the picture of dorian gray).

I previously got don juan off the same table - apparently someone pretty cool leaves their books there.

A book swap table is a really cool idea. I might pick some books and try to start one at my school. Or even a bookswap ledge or windowsill in a random hallway...

there is a website where you can write a tracking number in your book and then leave it around for people to find, and follow its progress as it gets passed along. I forget the name of it though...

I just read my 30mg 2C-E trip report from September 2011. It's the highest I've ever taken 2c-e. Such a good, inspirational, introspection-filled trip. I took 28mg in July of 2013 but man, I perceive the body load as so much more toxic now compared to how I used to picture it. I don't know if I want to take It at that level again. It really has been one of my favorites though. Still can't believe how many people report it as dark or cold or emotionally neutral. I've always been a happy, amazed, and inspired kiddo on it.

i would agree with you that 2ce didn't really seem "dark" or "cold" to me, but i did see hints of it's "neutral" character.
however, usually i'm pretty happy when i'm tripping, so for that reason, my 2ce trips were usually happy.

i haven't taken 2ce in almost three years. i used to take it pretty regularly (monthly or more), but the feeling of gut rot and the headache that i get afterward is off-putting.

my first trip on 2ce is the only report i ever submitted to erowid. it's under First Times, titled "looks like snow"
it was on HF first though
