The world doesn't need to be governed but we could manage our affairs better. The management of our affairs is a province of mind.and your mind is a kingdom you alone rule so what needs to happen if anything should is that you decide once and for all what kind of kingdom you want to live in.

all lies in jest till a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest

That's supposed to be a ridiculous statement that indicates that ridiculous statements usually fit right in with most of the other ridiculous statements that occur when

humans assume that the nature of existence is known to us. The extrapolation of unknown and unknowable entities having control over human affairs is ---ridiculous.

Most every ones conception of a god is that their god is better than your god. Actions across the world have proven that time and again.

your first two statements are absolutely correct. however i can confirm neither the premis nor the conclusion of your last pair of them. only, or primarily, within the currently dominant culture, does the premis of the first half o this pair of statements, approach universal applicability. likewise, the only thing proven by the actions implied in the conclusion statement of the pair, is that we can be trained to be gullible, ignorant asses. not that we are in any way, as some beliefs claim, born nor unalterably destined, to behave in any manor of the kind.
