America Speaks The Best English

I find the South African accent to be the most annoying out of all the english speaking accents, followed by New Zealanders


Southern US accent can be annoying cos its so drawn out, its like OMG, I can go boil an egg in the time its going to take you to finish your sentence

Kentucky offers a variety of accents. We're a borderland of the south, north, and midwest. Here in Louisville the population is very diverse and a lot of accents have merged together.

Which is why modern English has become the predominant language in the world.
Modern English is total amalgamation of words/meanings/vocabulary from just about every other language except for oriental/asian languages.
By virtue of that modern English affords the most far reaching vocabulary and as such is the most descriptive and concise language currently around.

Same reason America was/is the leader in so many different fields, we are the melting pot and benefit from bringing ideas from multiple cultures together.
Same thing that propelled most major civilizations to the apex throughout history, the integration of other cultures into their own. Those who simply wiped out opposing cultures never lasted as long or were as robust.
The Roman Empire is the prime example of the integration of many cultures into one resulting in a robust and powerful civilization.

I even think Kellie Pickler's accent is sexy, but a "cute" kind of sexy. Some of you may find the accent to be a little too "country", but I give less than a shit as to whether or not you like it. lol Also, she's drinking whiskey like it's water, which is also sexy. haha
