The last of the humming birds said goodbye yesterday.... I think it was the one that was in my hand a month or so ago. She will be back next year, I hope.
october and november are rotting death...december to february is the mourning...march to may is the re-birth ..june -july is childhood....august -september is adulthood... then Finnegan begin again
sure, if you want to be poetic and metaphorical about it. i prefer to just look at the reality of my experiences. winter months are generally just ridiculously cold and it's hard to drive anywhere and there's no daylight, plus it's basketball season which is an additional professional downside for me. spring months are still cold, and generally disgustingly wet and muddy. summer is pretty much perfection (although it can get uncomfortably hot) and fall is basically summer except with slightly worse weather and slightly better scenery.
january is when you try to change things to make the year better than the last one but always fail before the depression hits hardest (february)
I haven't done much cooking the last few days. I'm going to whip up a nice meal for all of us. T-Bone steak for Spiff, omelette for me (what else), buckwheat pancakes for Bassline, bacon for Baz, a few other key ingredients I won't mention. Notice the nice flavouring I'm adding. lol
That's a nice pot you're brewing Luce, yummy! I'm sure the special spices will add a real punch. Thanks for the bacon, it will go nicely with my new look.
Looky at you! All ready to go trick-or-treating with your little pumpkin. Nice shoes. I'm surprised you were able to squeeze into them. You sure you can fit enough treats in that little pumpkin? I was envisioning something more like this.
Thanks Lucy, it's a darling little clown piggy costume for Halloween. But those are my own shoes. Can I borrow that pumpkin? It fits a lot more than my little treat bag, that'll come in handy.
lol It''s all yours Baz. Aw, cute kitty on the pumpkin. Isn't this the witch from Bugs Bunny? Every time she cackled, a mess of hair pins would fly from her hair. I think that she was the ones with the pins. I may be confusing my witches.
Yep, it's her, pins flying everywhere. lol Witch Hazel, clever. (Witch Hazel is a shrub.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOxekpmGWPs
