I have been playing the Nintendo today. The Zelda game is my favorite Nintendo game. It is truly a classic. Are there any other Zelda fans here?

I finished Zelda: Twilight Princess on the Wii a few months ago which was an epic awesome game! I also have a super Nintendo emulator on my phone and have The Legend of Zelda on there but havent played it that much so far.

which nintendo and which "the zelda game?"

i loved all the old ones. i never got into the 3D ones. i'm just not a big fan of 3D action RPGs in general. couldn't get into kingdom hearts either, for example.

zelda 2 is fun on an emulator because you can save after every fight, but that fucker is damn near impossible to play through the way it was intended.

64 Nintendo and the "Ocarina of Time" Is the one I am playing today. My son tries to get me into kingdom hearts but I did not get far in it before getting bored. We also have the GameCube version of "Twilight Princess".

I remember when I beat Zelda 2 for the first time that no other game would match the frustration and difficulty. To this day it's on my top 5 accomplishments list.

    1. buying my first car
    2. fathering my son
    3. beating Zelda 2
    4. army service
    5. Sang in a sucky garage band

I never got into the 2D ones, I guess I was too late and spoiled. 3D action rpg's are actually my favourite kind of games haha, funny how it can differ per person huh
So in this regard Ocarina of time was my first and favourite Zelda game and it really was a highlight in my gaming experience too :)

i couldn't do it when it first came out. unless i was holding the gun an inch from the tv, i couldn't shoot a duck to save my life.

i got it again once i was an adult, and it was unbelievably easy. somewhere between the ages of 5 and 20, my aim improved dramatically.

Link to the Past is number one in my book, and then it is followed closely by Ocarina of Time. I'm looking forward to the next installment because I feel like it may become an instant classic.

Link's Awakening on the Game Boy is my favorite in the series. It's the first handheld game I ever played and the first Zelda game I ever played. It'll always have a special place in my heart. It's actually one of my favorite video games ever.

Heh, Zelda is/was a great game.
I borrowed it from my neighbor and beat it before he could.
He got grounded by his parents the day after I borrowed it and couldn't play Nintendo games for a month!
Does anyone remember the TV commercialhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ap7NjrcYoCk"]? Octoroks! lol

I found the Japanese light gun on ebay. It looks like a real gun if you cut the cord. So they could not sell it in the USA, but it works with my Nintendo.

Ocarina of Time is still one of my top games ever. I had so much fun playing that back in the day.

You know, I never could beat it. I'm not sure I even found the first temple!

It frightens me to think that the new one they're making is most similar to the original free roaming style. (Not that I don't think I'll enjoy it!)

I'm personally more familiar with OOT, Majora's Mask, and Twilight Princess. MM has to be my favorite though.

I can't wait to see what they do with Hyrule Warriors!

Me too. It was my first and only Zelda game as well. Glad it was that one.

I remember being very young playing Ocarina of Time and feeling overwhelmed with the grand scale of Hyrule. It seemed like you could go anywhere. It had this sense of mystery, adventure, and forboding that seemed very real to me, I guess because of my age. The sad moment when the Great Deku Tree dies and then you leave your home and Link looks so small standing in that field. I remember being actually afraid of leaving the forest because even though it was a game, I felt lost and didn't know where to go and I was afraid of getting killed, never mind going into places like this -
