manx....you will destroy me in a debate...but my point was that hipforums is far from dead....granted I wasn't here during the soaring and climbing ivy days but it is entirely probable that the site will take off again now that we are in the right decade as far as software is concerned

out of curiosity....what is your idea of fun on this website?

 

I like the new forums just fine. You guys are dinosaurs if it takes you that long to adjust to it

HF is not dead. This is a false flag operation by the global interests to try to destroy HF, take away our freedoms, and control us even more. The person in the video isn't Pressed Rat. It's an imposter from the government. The voice doesn't sound like PR.

Well, alright. Maybe it really is PR.

 

Just my 2 cents but the way the board is structured contributes to the slower vibe. There are so many sub-forums that it's pretty unlikely that a person would visit all of them to check for new posts or threads. On another board I visit...there is a "general discussion" forum that contains all threads from all sub-forums in chronological order regardless of whether you posted in them or not (although it notes if you did). That place has quite a bit less members than HF but seems like it's much busier because people see and post in threads that they may not have even seen otherwise.

Edit to say...the way it is now.....10 sub-forums could be on fire and a person would think the place was dead if nobody was posting in the sub-forums they frequent.
