Don't know how this topic got named as it did. I did not post or start this topic; it was during the transition and I tried to post a video link in either the random thoughts, or music category, I don't remember which now. But def/didn't mean to post in this topic!!

to be instantly vaporized would give our self-spirits all of their energy, instead of having to wait for a body to decay to regain it. spirit energy is a totally nonpysical thing, while nuclear effects appear to be entirely physical, so i don't see a likely basis for one to interfere with the other. however, as has been pointed out, the slow agonizing and not at all entertaining death from diseases and starvation resulting from climate change are a far more real and eminent danger then large scale nuclear exchange.

We are a living soul now and when we die, we will be a dead soul

i seriously do not believe method of death has any direct effect on following lives. but then i don't believe a single eternal afterlife any more likely then to live eternally in this one. nor an eternal death eaither.

isn't "dead soul" kind of a self contradiction?

sorry i'm not quite able to comprehend any kind of meaning out of that phrase.
