just booked my mom a day at the spa for her birthday:gift:

 

Ummm.... 90 miles. 45 each way... I may be old but damn, I don't drive that slow. I gotz one of the quickest cars that I run up against. :auto: And I'll use it too, grampa ain't no slouch. I travel the speed limit but you won't follow me through the twistys and I'll smoke ya off the line unless you're really packin' some serious HP under the hood...

I was comparing how this 35-45 minute back roads drive, traffic dependent, hurts worse now than a 10 hour drive back in the day, when I also had one of the quickest cars I ran up against. :2thumbsup:

People who owned propane tanks for shower were golden.

I was on town water so i had water all week long.

They could not turn it off.

I scored a 4X8 sheet of counter-top laminate today at the ReStore over near my Dad's place. It's textured like slate and off white/cream color, same shade as the tile I'm using on the kitchen counter tops... Goes on my built in kidney shaped kitchen table. Perfect! And... it was $5.00 <<< That's not a typo.

When it all comes together it's gonna be a bitchin' kitchen. (Rhyme intended )

 

I need a Bitchin' Kitchen sign... I bet there's someplace on Route 66 or down south with that name.

 

I have only heard of bitchin sauce and it is delicious :chef:
