Screw the spammer. I wanna talk hats. I've been trying to make myself a denim deerstalker hat out of old jeans. My sewing machine can't quite handle it though, so my first try is just a prototype. When I try again, I'll shop for a thin denim and it'll be dark blue. I'm not liking the light blue of the proto. The orange stitching doesn't show right. Anyone else tried hat making? Just a fan of hats? Lets talk hats!
i hate to wear hats, but i think they are cool amazing style+ my wife has knit huge amounts of hats, Tams and beanies and all styles,...........
An acquaintance of mine makes and sells pointy elf hats. Very nice; want to buy. I don't have a picture handy [dialup = sucky internets] but you can google 'robin crutchfield pointy hats' if interested . . .
I LIKE HATS. I make new woolly ones every winter. I like my hats to colour co-ordinate with my clothes. I don't do summer hats because I do chinese design parasols. Also trying to build a collection to match clothes.
I wear hats all year long. I knit wool and felted hats for winter. Also wear hats all summer to protect my skin.
I'm needing to get in the habit of sun hat wearing, but I don't want the look like Minnie Pearl habit.
I havnt found a hat thats worked for me yet, Having hair like mine does not go well with most hats. But that hat of Ty's is fuckin sweet!
I just remove the price tags before I wear them. :sunny: I also wear them because my eyes are really sensitive to light.
I wear hat whenever I go out in sunny weather. Although I like wearing hat whenever I travel on vacations.
I once bought a €40 hat at a music festival when I was under the influence. Later that night while we were even more under the influence we were having some drunk fun and my friend threw it in the water and it was gone. Next day I thought that was the best thing that could have happened because I regretted buying a €40 hat (would not have done that if i was sober ) and my friend who got it lost offered to repay me :cheers2: Never bought a hat again.
