Rebirth of an extinct order, Hashashins

The Hashashin order was founded long ago when man was very young, times have changed but i have made it a duty to continue the order, of course its 2012 and we can be more civilized, you will not be told how to think, if you search for the truth let your brothers and sisters help you. any one who wants to join may, once we have enough members we will open up a sub forum, but for now speak your mind and search for truth but please... keep it peaceful eace:

 

this is my first official post and for anyone who is like me and has searched for life's answers please come in, welcome to this forum, your first thing to ponder, are we in a recession? all over the world currency seems to be worth less and less, but does that mean we are doomed? or are we living in another renaissance? we have a resurgence of art, culture, and technology, for those of us who can see a brighter world, we must be the light that guides the rest of humanity, money, fame and all worldly things aren't the basis of life, i am not saying that they are bad but so many people are distracted by bills and money or lack there of, or work, they are too busy to take a look at the bigger picture, i'm not saying i know what it is my friends... but there is one, think about what you are doing at this very moment will it matter in 100 years? i hope you will all ponder this and please don't hesitate to start a conversation

Hashashin = Assassin ... There's a video game right now that's moderately popular. Possibly where the OP got the idea.

 

So we are possibly dealing with a video game nerd per say, disgruntled with society and it's military industrial complex mindset. He's trying to fight back through organizing groups of disgruntled internet stoners into an order based on pop culture. Is their more to this Hashashin hooplah? Or has this bored dim witted 17 year old figured it all out.

But how in the hell the OP has come up with his ideas/philosophy based on this group of assassins who were manipulated and coerced into service and involved with all types of political intrigue is anybody's guess.

If you've never heard of the hashashin you need to do some more reading, specifically William S Burroughs who rarely shut up about them.

I love those games :biggrin: One of the thrills of the first one was that it would be set during the 3rd crusade and it involved the templars (and it did). It's a great mix of history and fiction :2thumbsup:
I knew of the hashasins before though, I think first in a great Hawkwind song called Hassan i sahba. This is the name of the man that founded the Hashashin order in the 11th century, so it's not as old as the OP seems to proclaim it to be.

 

The hashishshins are an extict group. They've been gone for hundreds of years but together we can re-establish it. I'm no video game nerd but I believe the Ubisoft was trying to spread a message with there Assassin's creed games. The apple of eden is not real. But we can learn from the game.

 

Assassins Creed was originally based upon the Prince of Persia Franchise... :bobby:

Back on topic, the Hashashins were simple muslims who fought against the christian forces. I don't think it would be wise to make a rebirth of a ancient order online using stoners and other minorities as members.

 

They didn't limit themselves to christians at all

And I'm not sure how the AC games are based on the Prince of Persia franchise, story or setting wise? Maybe the game was based on the graphics engine of the other in regards to motion/climbing but nothing more.

 

According to the development team of the PoP franchise one of their games became the original AC
