I didn't say he should feel all of those emotions. We were talking about thinking about how you feel. How do you feel right now? Is it one way or a combination? It is sometimes good to step back and asess how you feel. If you felt all of the above emotions then you probably should not be on the internet. The "humour" for me anyway was that it was one of those reviews that music magazines love. IMHO, nobody actually listens to music and feels all of those be emotions in one go. I probably won't be winning many comedy awards...
I meant most likely about the title question because I've been feeling in some kinda way lately. But most likely too to that.
Shrugs. I used to always have very complex, strong emotions. Then they kinda went away to the point where most of the time I pretty much just feel either just normal or happy or scared... you know...whatever. Just one at a time, normal, not-complex stuff. But every now in a great while, including recently my emotions get all strange and complex. It may be the time of year. Or pregnancy for me.
I lold at this thread... The bleak and desolate feeling were in comparison to another album. The paranoid melachonly erotiscism as I call it is pervasive throughout much of the album, lyrically and musically but lyrically probably best captured in this verse...
G, it was meant in good (or really bad) humour. Although I do not really like that type of descriptiveness A little pretentious for my taste. But no malice meant. So the feelings are regarding several albums and feelings expressed in those albums?
that's what i thought too, but after reading the lyrics, the description is justified. i don't think you can call someone pretentious if they nailed it.
True. It seemed to have been written as if those feelings were felt at the same time. Hence my first comment. But if that made G feel this way and this made G feel that way. OK, I understand. I have just read a few too many reviews that gush like that. It's sometimes difficult to know what is genuine and just generic 'music talk'.
this perhaps explains much, as i am unfamiliar with these music magazenes. there was a show on a non-comercial radio station called the music magazene, but this does not appear to relate. an actual magazene about music seems a little bit difficult to me to see the point of. (although there is or was an online 'magazine' called synth music direct, with samples i used to visit a lot more then i have in a long while)
