I asked my rabbit where we live, and he ignored me and started humping his stuffed teddy bear.

Yeah, this room also has my wife's desk, another bookshelf, and an exercise bike... so it is kind of a study/office/exercise room.

My current room has two mattresses. stacked. Some kind of shelf made of particle board it's sitting at an weird angle in front of my window for some reason. This brings me to my window, lol, there's cardboard piled in it to keep the light out. The room itself is about 10' by 10' and has a closet with sliding doors. In the closet I have half a dozen pickle buckets, five rope handle tubs, and like 9 bubblebags. There is a guitar leaning against the wall in a solid body case, it is not mine, I am borrowing it from a friend. Next to the guitar I have a stick that is designated to make impact with intruders skulls. There are dirty clothes strewn about carelessly and a hamper packed full in the corner.

I'm terrified that Hudak is going to win this election with a platform that, despite a nice name, is completely fucked. One mathematical error means that his plan forecasts 8 times more jobs than it would actually produce (assuming that the rest of the numbers are correct and that things happen exactly as he predicts).

Why is anyone still considering voting for him? The guy is still defending a plan that has been shown to be completely fucked, and can't produce a single independent economist to vouch for it.

    I really hope we don't become a Tea-Party province...

Hub just landed a new job. Decent pay and they at least want him for two years.
It's doing adult literacy at a local Native based career centre.

It's going to be the first time since supply teaching in 2006 that he's gonna be getting paid even close to what he's worth. His special needs jobs were always min wage. (fucking United Way profit bullshit)

He's also really enjoying teaching adults. There's a lot less pressure than teaching a minor. The paranoia that comes from being a man teaching teenagers, who could end your entire life with one accusation, it was insane. You could never go out to see a movie stoned because you would ALWAYS run into a student.

    So ya! Fuck ya!!

I would not even consider voting party on this election. Often when you may not agree with a candidate at least you support the party agenda. Platform is wrong in so many ways that it is terrifying. I am not overly enamoured with any of the parties at this point and the leaders are the main reason why. I am going to vote candidate in my riding as that may at least help my riding.

This election is going to be very split as I think most people feel about the same way. There is really not one party that stands out as being progressive in thinking.

Yes, it is very frustrating. The NDP candidate in my riding has worked for years in a long-term care home, and the Liberal candidate is well-educated and works in the health care field, so I would be comfortable with either one of them. The Green candidate just ran because she wanted to have their views represented, but she has no relevant education or experience. Without being too mean, the Libertarian candidate seems really unintelligent, and reminds me of some of the posters in the politics section on this site. Our PC candidate is Vic Fedelli, who is a Hudak supporter and rich guy who wants to cut taxes on the rich.

Let alone the amount of public service positions he is stating he will cut. It baffles me as to how the proposal could possibly work as in a stimulus for the province.

I am probably going to go NDP as at least our candidate has been approachable and articulate. Sad when a vote comes down to that.

I have a feeling we are going into a minority situation and while unavoidable it does not serve the province well usually to have a minority situation.

It is really a shame, because in theory a minority government should be better for us than a majority. It should force the parties to work together, coming up with policies that represent the wishes of a wider variety of people. Instead, they fight and argue until they can call another election.

Historically, in Canada, minority governments have brought us some of our most progressive policies. Now they just seem to waste our time and money.
