Not so long ago a bloke here was caught on film chasing a swan I think on a jetski. Did nothing to it just chased it. That dude got into enormous trouble over it too and it went nationwide. We have duck crossing signs over here too and if you hit a duck and you're caught look out.

 

that figures...people doing basically nothing wrong get the hell.

 

i often hope I do not see anything like this happen, as I will lose it, and try to take justice into my own hands and go to jail for something like this, probably.
My tolerance for injustice to animals is nil.

 

Theres a pond outside my work and if you go near the ducks or geese they run to the water. Well one time they got far from the water so i wanted to see which way they would go. So i got between them and the water and ran towards them they parted like the red sea then one adult flew behind me and was batting my helmet with its feet and wings.

 

I somehow suspect the driver wouldn’t have been quite so cavalier if he encountered one of these now extinct species.

If its any consolation a couple years back I stopped traffic on a busy 4 lane to let mommy duck and her brood cross and one of the local sheriffs deputies pulled his car across 2 lanes with the lights on till they got across.

I would hope so but they do make good moonshine so I cant hate them all just the ones who run over ducklings and talk like they have no teeth well cuz they dont
