Glasses!

Ever hear of never hitting a girl or never hitting someone with glasses lol

 

Nobody hates anyone here. Unless they are people who hate glasses-wearers, in which case we vilify them and ritually burn them at the stake and dance naked around their singed bodies...

i wish i needed to wear glasses...

 

Why?

Nobody wants to wear glasses. It's just we have bad eyesight so are forced to wear them and then gradually get dependant on them. I don't want to wear them but I have to. I'd rather have 20:20 vision but I can't so I have to rely on glasses to see anything closer than arms length clearly.

Oh well at least they're PURPLE!)

 

I like wearing my glasses. If I had a choice to go back to being a non-glasses wearer I would really have to think about it! They are part of me. I wear my glasses with pride! I used to wear contacts but they are far too much hassle and wearing glasses is hardly a chore... I like the way glasses have been reclaimed from people who wear them being "speccy twats" to them actually being seen as dignified and "cool". The only times they are annoying is when I go swimming or when it's freezing cold outside and you walk into a hot / humid place and they steam up Other than that, I love 'em!

 

yeah! go glasses! i've got some purple buddy holly-style glasses that i'm ever so proud of

 

I love wearing mine.. I just have to remember to wear them thats all.. I'm always forgetting and loosing them

I think glasses can be very sexy!!

 

Glasses are grand... JOhn wished he wore them the other day and I just laughed at him and said 'I wear them and you don't ' I love them more than anyone will ever know

 

I wear contacts, but only due to the fact i get headaches if i wear glasses for long amounts of time so are restricted to mornings and evenings and days when i am almost blind from a hangover...

 

My glasses are so incredibly light that I sometimes forget I am actually wearing them. They are also made from a special material to. You can accidentally sit on these and they will not break. I don't wear my glasses for fun either. With out them everything I see is just a blur. Reading becomes a much harder task and I certainly won't be able to type on this without the aid of a magnifier or screen reader.
