Hello, I arrive in Montreal on May 7th. Been away for over ten years teaching English overseas. Don't have any contacts in Quebec as yet, and looking for communal centre or lesson exchange for accommodation while I settle in. I am a Taoist. Welcome.

That's excellent, Luce. Very impressive use of French there! Just one tiny thing, I may have gone with "très actif", but that's just nitpicking.

That French section looks good, handy for us Montrealers and Quebecois to communicate.

 

My French is a little rusty! On doit parler en Français seulement.

 

Funniest part is, I didn't realize the OP was from 2010. lol Wonder how the commune is going/went.

 

gaspe would be a nice place to start a commune....don't remember the name of the film.."loving and laughing "if memory serves me right .....been a long time since I've seen it.and yes there is a French forum on hip forums ...been a while since I've been there.
