This. I think most 'Internet cafe's' these days are just functional. The ones that try and create some type of atmosphere (and actually sell food/coffee etc) are with the dinosaurs. In my part of the world, anyway.

I have no clue how most try to be here myself (I never visit one)... If I couldn't use my own stuff for awhile i'd probably hit the library. The section there were you can internet does look like an internet cafe in the more literal sense.
Well It's a bank holiday here (Good Friday or something) so the library is closed. That's where I would generally have gravitated to. And it's free!
It looks more like a church than a bank. It has never been either. Its only purpose since it was built (1903): a libriary
I don't see the forum going down anytime soon. More likely, us that have been around for a long time will leave when a lot of younger kids come on here and ruin it. As for when I will move on, who knows. I don't plan to until I stop enjoying coming here.
My smartphone turned up this morning. Was happy. Then turned it on to find everything was in CHINESE!
