haha....me too...imagine my surprise

 

I probably shouldnt mix this weed together. but its not to bad doing so. got this strawberry candy tasting shit. dont get you much higher that anything else. it just taste very wonderful.

 

i think i am going to try to grow more willow, and coppice it. then i can harvest it for baskets. everyone likes a good basket. the whole center/ tall part of the willow is dead and dried out, and ive already pulled several other big dead sections out. they dont do so well when they get tall and brittle, and then it snows. i guess the best time to harvest is late fall/ early winter, and best time to make the big cuts is late winter. should be able to grow the cuttings too, if i have the area set up right. did get a few cuttings to grow last last year, until they didnt get watered.

we are in a lull between rainstorms apparently. forecast to get 30-60 mm in the next 24 hours or so. there will most likely be some flooding, since the ground hasn't thawed much yet.

 

Installed new to me kitchen sink last night... Still working on the drain hookups, this sink is much larger than the old so nothing lines up. Got a guy coming to finish up some plumbing and I'll have hot/cold running water in kitchen and second bath. He was going to try for today but postponed until tomorrow.

And I have to say, ML, you are the most self sufficient person I have ever heard of... Who thinks of growing stuff then harvesting it for baskets? That's crazy first you need to know which plants... then how to properly grow the plants.. then how to harvest them.. then how to make a basket!? Plus all the other stuff you do...

Yep hopefully next month when one of the shows is on so I can pick 1/1000 that'll be there. =p I don't want a show dog just yet but it's best to get at least a failed show dog as a puppy.

i should of taken the old sink out mine. weighs a ton tho. might be a few dollars in scrap. its the rest the debris field around it that i dont want to dig thru and find a chinaman..
