for the record....most ..if not all of Canada regards BC as "that place where the weird people and drug addicts go"

 

Not gunna lie, I don't know anything about Canada outside of BC lol

I know more American history and "civics" than Canadain, but that's just because that's what we learnt in school... I took history and it was all American history...

I remember we had to memorize the states in elementary school, I didn't think anything of it at the time.. but now.. wtf? lol I mean, we learnt all the provinces too... but why the states? I garantee they don't teach Canadian provinces in american schools..

I don't know if it's like this everywhere, as I've never really left the lower mainland except for 1 year but I was to young then... but there is an abundant amount of drugs, it's at the point where there's so many dealers they're annoying af... Everyone sells drugs so they're always trying to get customers lol

I literally have random people just come up to me and ask if i need some weed... It's the weirdest thing, i'll just be walking home and some guys like "dude want some herb?" .. "already got to much sorry.." lol..

 

About saying eh...my mother does! lol I really think it has to do with people her age (94 yrs, in case a few of you don't remember me saying it a billion times ) and near her age tend to say that here in the south. Because of her, both my son and I say it sometimes, too...but its usually as a joke. That is a joke few (if any) around here get.

That is so weird...that part of Canada teaches more American history than Canadian. What is that about...

Yea I think BC is just kinda like... Not super stereotypical Canadian like people have said...

Like how if you go to Texas it'd probably seem very American, then you go to California or something and it's very different...

It would hard for 2 states to be more different than Texas and California...except for South Carolina and California lol...but yeah

 

I've come back here because I'm breaking my own dang rule not to stress myself out by posting outside of sl...

When a thread is concerned about nuances or degrees or types of something...and then the thread is supposed to be about only a certain type of whatever, I might not get it. especially when it is written in plain English and is not scientific.

Sometimes I just like to answer what a question is or address a thread title...and not have to worry about answering exactly right or "getting it".

I can't post out of the SL chat because I get in trouble for always bringing the thread off topic I'm so used to the chat where everything is random and people just say whatever...

Every post I make gets a little more and more off topic when I go into other forums and then people get annoyed lol

I've noticed that occasionally sl chat will have sort of a topic for a minute or 2...but other than that...

being off topic is on topic in these here parts.

 

I was really stoned with my friend one time and we were in my bedroom with the door shut. She said, "hey, doesn't it look like we're in a shoe box?" I said "oh man it does.." I looked around and said "it's like we're barbie dolls in a shoe box".. and it was a brief frightening freaky moment but then we both started cracking up..

 

My bunny escaped and I was so sad so I went and got the brother at the pet store plus some supplies to make a bunny cage and then when I get home the neighbour behind me knocks on door and asks if I missing a rabbit. So now I have two of them XD and I won't make the mistake of letting them roam free in the yard all night -.-

I like the group here, if you don't mind me joining in. You all seem pretty laid back, goofy, and fun.

Um, stoned stories huh? One of the first few times I got high, I felt that our minds projected our body outwards to, like we were living in our eyeball or something, which is why the world is circular. Doesn't really make any sense now

About a hundred years ago I remember being soooo stoned with my bff. We were riding with some dudes we knew and the car was pulled by the cops because the driver was speeding, like in Back to the Future or something.

That was, I think, the ONLY time I was ever in a vehicle that was pulled and I didn't get in some kind of trouble.

Anyway, I was so messed up (stoned) I couldn't even talk, or think coherently. I remember just watching her and doing and saying what she did. lordhavemercy...it worked though.

If she nodded, I nodded...whatever she said, I sort of repeated it, sometimes even in my own words. We got to leave...the guys got simple possession and I don't know what all...there was a bong sitting on the driver's hood that seemed then, and now, about 18" tall, with the blue light twirling so that it kept hitting the glass of the bong.

She learned...and NEVER EVER got even close to trouble again.

I had to go to the school of hard knocks several times before I learned a dang thing.
