What did you cook today?

Going to try a Korean spicy pulled pork and hopefully some crispy sweet chilli chicken bits later.

 

I made rack of lamb and holy shit it was good

Nothing, I'm broke for two more days I think.

Unless I go do the ATM thing tonight...I didn't wanna do all those steps earlier but my cable bill was due yesterday so might as well just go do it before I go to sleep cuz I like having 100mbps and decent credit.

lol Sounds like someone is being taken for granted.

Today I made Cajun blackened catfish. Yum!

 

It's 1:04 am in the morning and i haven't eaten a thing all day.

 

Today I made Paleo pancakes for lunch, tuna melt with sweet potato fries for lunch, then waffles sausage and hash browns for dinner.

 

It tasted great! Almost like regular dough.

 

Wow, I hope that catfish tasted as good as it looks. :drool5: But Cajun-style sounds spicy.

 

It is! Spicy poisson-chat… the spicier the better! Well not so much your mouth sears completely, but a bit of burn is good. It went well with lightly steamed green beans.

No dessert. Still waiting for the babka (you knew I wouldn't forget about it!)

 

Sounds good Luce, but that might be too spicy for me. I don't do well with burns. The French poisson-chat sounds a lot more exotic than catfish. :biggrin:

Sorry, no luck with the babka yet. Can I maybe interest you in a nice light cheese kugel instead?

 

A little French'g is always fun. Le meow... le purrrr... Did you cook the dessert yourself, Baz? This is the cooking thread. Go on then, I'll have a slice. I've never had a kugel. You're going to get me fat trying to appease me with every dessert under the sun, to get me to forget the babka. Fat (ha) chance!
