I'm always looking for healthy bargains.I find supermarket shopping quite fun.Kind of like Alice in Wonderland.
Up until 1959 Coke was still 5 cents for a 6.5 0z. bottle in some places. It jumped to a dime because of vending machines. We used to get a dime bottle and pour in a nickel bag of M&Ms to make chocolate Coke. Then return the bottle for 2 cents. Making the price of the Coke 8 cents a bottle.
IN 1904 THE SUBWAY FARE IN NYC WAS 5 CENTS ($0.05).., A NICKEL TODAY IN 2014 it is $2.50...a few months ago maybe back in 2013 it was $2.25 :sunny: XD
I gave up cokes and all sodas a little over two years ago. I no longer have heartburn or acid reflux and I feel a lot better. I have never really missed them either.
That's strange considering how many brands of cola they have in the supermarkets here. If one supermarket chain would get rid of all the more affordable cola's (hard to believe anyway cause they are a profitable product or so it seems to me) go to another supermarket. I suppose you don't like Aldi's cola?
no. no. no..haha..Jeff Gordon. I used to work for Pepsi and I had so many Jeff Gordon stand up cardboard things..I ended up tossing them in the bailer..I am not a racing fan
When we were kids our family did not buy soda of any kind. When I was about 7 I had my tonsils out and was given soda as a "treat". It hurt so bad to swallow it that I never drank soda again willingly. Still don't drink carbonated drinks.
