I get on quite well with the e-cig.I don't think they should have the power to ban it.I mean they're safer than cigarettes and there's no way they are gonna ban them.I see e-cigs as a big business and that's what everyone wants,supposedly...

They are not trying to ban them ! But are talking about banning them from public places the same as real cigs , which is fair enough I suppose

But all they pump out is water vapour...I think it's more about people's moral sensibilities towards addiction than any physical consequences.

Oh yes, quite right Mallyboppa, thinking it can influence people to take up actual smoking

Some of the Chinese ones have been found to have bad shit in them though !
They have not really been tested well enough IMO to be allowed in public places
Don't forget that in the 50s cigarettes were actually advertised as being good for you :(

I know! In the 50's bored housewives who went to the doctors were advised to task up smoking as an antidote to tedium...

The thing is,once you have bought a god quality e-cig,about £18 pounds, and I have two since I don't want to run out of energy since they are charged via USB port, the juice costs around £3.95 which lasts me a week to ten days.Much cheaper than smoking in the long run

well it's got to be less dangerous than smoking...but with the vapour, i wonder how that might affect someone with asthma?

Yes.You have to be careful with asthma and anyone with possible lung disease. The nicotine also can affect the heart for anyone with a dicky ticker.
