They look cool.
What power does the symbol have or what distinguishes it's power from the word symbol good?

 

Or as much power as people don't give it.

 

The way I see it that is kind of included in my statement as well, but I have the feeling you mean it different, like: the symbol can gain more power because of the ignorance of people.

But I don't really see how that could be in for instance jaredfelix's above example or the illuminati signs in pop music. How do they have more power when people don't know or care about them at all?

 

I agree. A symbol can only instill fear or worship or whatever the purpose if people know what the hell it is.

A symbol is just a symbol to me. I've never really put a whole lot of stock into illuminati symbols. It only means something to people who give it meaning.

Why don't tell me why these artists are using those symbols and if I find it plausible or interesting I perhaps check that site out.

Well Asmo, because they are unaware of the deeper meanings of these symbols, they go beyond normal capable understanding.

The reason we have affection for certain shapes and see their common recurrence is not representative of archetypes in the human psyche but it is representative of patterned emergence, fractal mathematics, the reason our circulatory system looks like branches and roots.

 

yes and as symbols evolve then so do words and then peoples experiences, culminating and writing and condensing it getting knowledge all and all exponentially faster today and it only gets faster.

 

Let's talk about time then. How long is an instant? How long does it take a flash of understanding to appear? Nothing is getting faster, there are more records to refer to.

 

well while we are so consciously attracted to our physical bodies it is hard for us to remember the eternalness of our souls. this physical pleasure filled reality is almost like being distracted with sin, however our eternal bodies are also learning through physical sense manifestations, so really we are here to learn. knowledge must not be "eternal" but infinite if you define it as experiences. so id describe God as only being eternal and timeless. so does this mean God alters our reality?

 

There is no special knowledge all being knowing evidence but there are degrees of interest or points of focus. Life moves from the simple to the more complex based on association not by following some set out path to ascendancy. When you set out to teach or explain something you will notice you knew more about the subject than you thought you did. Teaching and learning are the same as you teach yourself and others without ceasing.
