    BIG BROTHER SPEAKS

Here are a few of Orwell's Newspeak terms coined in 1948 that are so relevant to what is happening today:

Crimethink:to even consider that the authorities could be wrong in any way.

Crimestop:to instinctively change your thought processes whenever you are in danger of breaking the law of crimethink and never listening to views that expose the ruling cabal. This has been described as "protective stupidity."

Thinkpol:the Thought Police whose role is to eliminate crimethink through spying, surveillance cameras, ect..

Blackwhite:to accept whatever the authorities say without question and, as Orwell put it. "..loyal willingness to say black is white when party (government) discipline demands this. It also means the ability to believe that black is white, and more, to know black is white, and forget that one has ever believed the contrary."

Duckspeak:to speak without thinking, as in quacking like a duck.

Facecrime:to show any facial expression that Big Brother survillance could interpret as having something to hide. This could be a look of anxiety or failing to react to official statements or alleged "victories" in the correct manner, including not cheering when a war was won.

Doublethink:the refusal or inability to see contradictions and to have two contradictory beliefs in your mind at the same time while believing them both to be true. This comment by boy George Bush is an example:"See, we love--we love freedom. That's what they didn't understand. They hate things; we love things, They act out of hatred;we dont seek revenge, we seek justice out of love."

This asks us to believe that love=mass murder of civilians. This is an apparently impossible contradiction or doublethink, but tens of millions of Americans and others believe that both are true. Doublethink, and therfore crimestop (refusing to think anything ill of the government) are essential to tyrannies because their whole foundation is based on contradictions and lies. The character called Winston in Orwell's 1984 defined doublethink or doublespeak as:

"To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which cancelled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them, to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it, to believe that democracy was impossible and that the Party (government) was the guardian of democracy, to forget whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back into memory again at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again:and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself. That was the ultimate subtlety:consciously to induce unconsciousness, and then, once again, to become unconscious of the act of hypnosis you had just performed. Even to understand the word 'doublethink' involved the use of doublethink."

    NEWSPEAK TODAY

The Orwellian society is now all around us, gathering pace by the hour, and naturally a vital component of globalist thought control today is, as Orwell envisaged, the manipulation of language. Here are some of the real meanings behind modern Newspeak that the spinners constantly work to camouflage:

American interests:the interest of those who control the United States and anyone who resists that control is acting "against American interests".

National Security:the security of the authorities to hide their agenda and the control of the people through increased security to meet manufactured dangers.

World community:you hear this mantra pour from the mouths of the globalists like Bush, Powell and Blair. It implies that 'free' nations are bound together in pursuit of freedom, peace and morality as a "world community' when, as we saw with Iraq, this is Newspeak for American and British tyranny on behalf of the global-elite. "World community" is also designed to prepare the way for the acceptance of the world government.

Government Groups:any organisation that seeks to highlight and challenge government dictatorship. They are, therefore, dubbed highly dangerous anarchists or potential terrorists.

Extremist:anyone saying anything different to the government supported norm(see also "militant"). Redistributing wealth from mega rich to starving poor is considered "extremism" by those in power.

Conspiracy Theory:any claim that the government is lying and following an agenda hidden from the people.

Change:a big Newspeak word that means to introduce a global society by creating problems and undermining the status quo to bring about the perceived need for "change". The word "reform" is used in the same way, not least by Tony Blair, who claims that people are either "reformers" (those who accept change in line with the agenda) or "wreckers" (those that resist such change).

Right and Left/Conservative and Liberal:terms designed to present every issue as black and white polarities and obscure the fact that there are more than two sides to every debate.

Nation building: After bombing and invading a target country you place a puppet government in power to represent your interests while claiming it is a government chosen by the native people. This ensures the country is run by your dictat, but without your overt control. We don't want people to realise that a campaign of global conquest is happening before thier eyes (or visual cortex.)

Peacekeeping:eek:ccupation of a country by foreign troops.

Peace process:giving the impression that you are working for peace when it is merely an interlude before launching more conquest through war.

Terrorists:those who protest through violence, but also anyone who attacks or challenges the interests of the 'West', expecially America, Britain and Israel, or stands in the way of further conquest.

Liberation:mass murder and terrorism against civilians in the name of stopping terrorism that is nothing whatsoever to do with the people you kill or maim for life.

War on Terrorism:the constant repeat of this process.

Attack:When America and Co are the target.

    Retaliation:When America and Co attack.

Western values:these are values you want to impose on others, but don't have yourself. Mythical belief in the in the 'West' as the good guys appearing over the ridge to kill them baddy Indians. See also John Wayne.

    Campaign contribution:bribe.

    Education:brainwashing

Good citizens:slaves that do not protest at being so or even realise that they are.

    Equality:makes everyone a slave.

Human rights:the right to do what government tells you.

Tolerance:do not criticise or challenge the behavior of anything and anyone, no matter what the circumstances.

    Zero tolerance:tyranny.

Free trade:using slave labor to make your products in the world's poorest countries for a few cents and exporting them without tariff charges to the richest countries to sel for top-of-the-range prices. Also means to dump your products in any country you wish and destroy the local economies and livelihoods of the world's poorest people.

Competition:transnational corporations competing to see which can exploit the global population most effectively.

    Capitalism:cartelism.

Propaganda:whatever your opponents say because you only tell the truth.

    Freedom:slavery.

99% of what you just wrote contradicts the other 35% errrrrr! That doesn't make sense ! Neither does your ramblings

all the things you claim you don't have, you have !! all the rights you claim are withheld from you , are afforded you !!!! all the freedoms you claim are denied you, are yours for the taking !!! Your problem is, you don't know any better ! You really need to live without you human rights for a short while, just to show you what you take for granted ....

If you spoke so passionately about your fear of loosing those things, I would be the first person to join your crusade, but you seem dedicated to bringing the US down.. If it come to this conclusion and the mighty US falls... what would you do then...

Quit your " destroy the west at all cost " attitude and concentrate on having more transparency in the system you have,,, and please answer me on question,, " why did the American people re-elect that dingdong at all " you wouldn't throw a car away just because the guy driving is a moron !!!!! The system of government is not the problem its the driver...

At the very least what PB is talking about is the US-centered worldview that the proponderance of Americans hold as is represented in our government. The current administration (as well as American foreign policy in general for a very long time) seems to hold the position that what is good for the United States is the primary concern to the exclusion of the needs of others. It doesn't take a trip to the Middle East to find people who dislike us for our hypocritical positions; we have a long history of using third-world countries for our own needs until that need changes, then we cut them loose.

Although Orwell's vision has not been completely realized, there are parallels between 1984 and our current society. What is needed is a significant paradigm shift where our government views all citizens of the world as human beings and creates policies to match that belief. We have operated for too long from the position that American policies are the given quantity and any other position deviates from the norm.

It is not a desire to destroy the US, it is the desire for the US to live up to its claims of morality in the world. We must stand up and protest US actions in Abu Graib and Guantanamo. We must demand better than the position taken by the current candidate for Attorney General who was looking for ways to excuse torture as a way to get information. The United States is supposed to be better than that. We must, as human beings, strive to be better than that.

What doesn't make sense? Perhaps you're the one that is having difficulty comprehending what I posted. Do you know who George Orwell is? Have you ever read 1984? Have you even heard of it?

Well, how would you know if you are not an American? Are you familiar with the Constitution and civil liberties? How about the Patriot Act(s)?

Rights and liberties ARE being taken away at an alarming rate, and it's only going to get worse as more and more so-called "anti-terrorism" bills like the "Patriot Act" are passed. Of course these anti-terrorism laws do not make it harder for us to be attacked by terrorists as much as they take away law-abiding citizens' rights. If people don't stand up and take action, the Orwellian nature of what we see going on in this country right now is only going to get worse, before it is indeed a modern-day 1984, which we are fast approaching. I don't take anything for granted, as my rights are protected by the Constitution, not by the people who are seeking to destroy the Constitution.

Yes, we are lucky for the rights we do have as they slowly dwindle away. If people don't stand up, it's going to be too late to complain about our rights at all because we won't have any.

It's only a matter of time before people are arrested for speaking out against the tyranny of the government. It will be just like Nazi Germany. If you had any idea what is going on in this country when it comes to the destruction of civil liberties and almost unlimited government power, you would know what I am talking about.

That couldn't be further from the truth. I don't hope the US falls -- quite the contrary. I wouldn't be speaking out if I didn't care about where my country is headed. If I didn't care, I would sit back and do nothing, like you. I would be like you and criticise others who speak out.

The people who want to bring this country down are those that are in control. The people who want to bring this country down are the very same people that are apparently against everything America's Founding Fathers stood for.

Nobody said anything about destroying the West. I am sure the elites can handle destroying the West themselves.

And I have no evidence that says Bush was re-elected by the people, let alone elected to begin with.

I think there's a quote by Josef Stalin that states: "Votes mean nothing. Those who count the votes mean everything."

That could not be more true.

Well, it's not really about that. It's really not soley about the US-centered worldview, but rather that of the globalists. Many people benefit from this so-called "War or Terrorism." Not just the US. It goes much deeper (and higher) than that, which is something many people fail to realize. The US is simply the vehicle behind the imperialist conquest for global control. Rich and powerful people all across the world stand to benefit from war and its possible outcome.

The real reason of this post is to show how words in the media are manipulated, as they were in Orwell's classic. That's all. I think some people are reading too much into it.

Well, that's not really how I see it, and I don't think that will ever happen. Money is the root of all evil and it always will be. It would be naive to think anything is going to change, as it currently stands.

It's not really about that, either. Yes, we should stand up against torture and inhumane treatment of people, both here and abroad. But standing up for your rights is the most important thing of all. You can't speak out if you don't have rights.

Am I saying we don't have the right to speak out? No. But it is headed in that direction. As people become more and more manipulated -- hence controlled -- by the mainstream media, the people become that much easier to mislead, and most people will likely fall right into the trap.

"The greatest trick the elite ever pulled was convincing the world that they exist."

    -Some drunk yokel

The problem with media and American government is that it has been celebritized. People forget that these people they see on their magic TV screens every day are just human being like you and me, who shit, eat and fuck like anyone else.

These people aren't supermen, they have no divine powers and they will die some day like everybody else.

Our government has gone from a government of the people, for the people and by the people, to a government of the elite, for the elite and by the elite.

The media is a vital cog in this system of control.

"Question: Why does control need to control?
Answer: Control need control like a junkie needs junk."

-William S Burroughs (may he rest in peace)

Television is the most powerful tool for control ever invented. Other things can control the body, things like drugs can crudely control the mind, but television, with it's subtlety and pervasiveness can in fact direct the exact thoughts of those exposed to it. Why don't you hang out around the water cooler at work tomorrow to count how many times a line from tonight's popular sitcom is repeated.

Television news chose our current president. They deliberately sabotaged Howard Dean's campaign and chose Kerry, a very weak candidate and obviously too far left in the wrong places to win in today's political climate, to hand the election to Bush.

Why did the media want "four more years"?

    I don't know.

We may never know because they only tell us the things they want us to know. Control must control if it is to continue controlling.

My harebrained theory is that Bush is good for the news business. No TV newsman likes a slow news day, it mean they have to run that stupid story about the two legged dog named Miracle. They lose advertisers when they have to run that stupid story about a two legged dog named Miracle. But with Bush around, they never have a slow news day.

Remember when the war first started? Remember how gung-ho the news was about it, sending imbedded reporters and live feed of out-of-focus sand from Giraldo Riviera? They ate that shit up and so did we, Americans watched more news, and the control gained more control, not to mention advertising dollars.

By the way, money is not the root of all evil, control is. Money is just a form of control. It is an abstract representation of resources. Resources are a powerful form of control, if a man is starving he will do just about anything for a bowl of soup. If there was no money, people would just trade straight resource and things wouldn't really be all that different.

    Money = Resources = Control

It all comes down to control. Everything they do is all about control.

    The media is control.

    The Patriot Act is control.

    War is control.

    Money is control.

    Terrorism is control.

    A bully is control.

A poorly spoken president whose personality appeals to "average Joe American" is control.

These people simply cannot stand the idea of not being in absolute control of everything around them. If they could they would blow up the moon just to prove to themselves how much control they have.

But they are nothing special. They are just human beings like you and me. The only reason they can control you is because you let them.

How do you deal with a bully? If you whine like a pussy he just beats you more. He knows he controls you. But if you give him a good swift kick to the balls he will leave you alone. You are out of his control.

Kick the fuckers in the balls. Control is a junkie for control. What is the worst thing you can do to a junkie? Take away his junk!

    Annuit Coeptis..........
    definition please.

Uneducated people are easier to control, so discourage and defame education.
Answer questions by attacking the questioner, accusing them of nefarious motives to put them on defense, changing the subject, or just plain 'not to the best of my recollection.
Divide people into groups and convince them the other one is out to get them, then they will be so busy fighting amongst themselves, they cannot fight the controllers.
Create a problem, the people will react with cries for a solution, then offer them whatever solution that was the reason you created the problem in the first place. The people will order you to implement it.

Federal Income Tax implementation is a good example.

Could be that " Novus Ordo Seclorum " Is more appropriate......... for this forum ? or for the sake of the welfare of the world in general it should be
    "E Pluribus Unum "

But I know the 'New World Order', and 'Out of many, one'.
Sure they are appropriate, but I forget what Annuit Coeptis means.

then you know incorrectly "Novus ordo seclorum" was not intended to mean (nor does it correctly translate into) "new world order." Seclorum is plural (new worlds order?).Thomson said the motto refers to the beginning of a new age – an American era beginning in 1776.

Annuit Coeptis is translated to English meaning "He (God) has favoured our undertakings." But this is also incorrect, it means "Providence Has Favoured Our Undertakings"
