    its showing 35 bucks for first one from a store and 30 bucks for the ebay one from a person

    i would have sprung the extra 5 for the warranty

    I probably should have but I'm just a dude fixing a wife's friend's computer.. there is no warranty expressed or implied in this situation. she already paid me so that extra five bucks is coming out of my pay. The hard drive I ordered is 7200rpm vs 5400 rpm, so there's that positive tradeoff too.. I'm only making 20 bucks and I'm updating the BIOS as well.

    If it was mine I would be ordering a larger hard drive anyway.
