No Man, has the right to take another life, be that a man, woman or child! So how can a death penalty be right? In the UK, we got it wrong so many times, it went out with all the other barbaric crap! In the 60s. You cannot always get it right! After all, we are only humans, with emotions, and its emotions that judge People. The death penalty, and guns on the streets of any country, should be removed! Hard labour! Ake them pay for their crimes..The chain gangs plus flogging were far more effective. Too many civil rights rule the world now, but two wrongs dont make a right!
The WM3 were innocent men on death row. There's a good chance there's still plenty more like them. When you say nobody innocent exists on death row, and I point out the WM3, you immediately jump to "They aren't on death row anymore." Therefore contradicting your prior statement. Maybe one day, you'll see how stacked-against-you the justice system can be. Maybe you'll experience it yourself, or maybe you'll see it happen to someone close to you. I've had friends fall victim to unfair sentencing; thankfully not death row or life in prison.
"theres a good chance" doesn't mean there is innocent people on death row. i dont see how that contradicts with sacco and vanzetti not being on it. (anyway) I ONLY SAID THEY WEREN'T ON IT BECAUSE THEY WOULD BE WELL OVER 100 YEARS OLD!!! you don't have to tell me about an unfair court system. i have seen both sides, innocent people found guilty and guilty people found innocent. hence my statement about the judges having too much power................
first off OJ Simpson isnt walking the streets, second off he may not have killed them so he should have been found innocent. if your so fond of googling old random long forgot stories like the one you linked to me then how about you read the story of Glen Rogers who had admitted to killing Nicole and was photographed with them not long before the murders so he definitely could have done what he said he did. and he was clearly crazy enough to do it.
It would be interesting to know who sprinkled OJs blood on the sidewalk heading towards the alley. Pretty good plan.
How did I miss this? I think you are the only person who spoke of a "luxury" that prisoners enjoy in that way. A lot of people don't want them to be fed good food because they want them to suffer. Your concern was people who already don't have enough food.
Do you agree with the second part? If you can actually fathom if it makes any logical sense, that is.
Who me? Are you saying: 'The government has killed more people than any one person, so perhaps it's the state that needs to be put to death.' makes sense?
That is why I am against the death penalty. If our judicial system didn't make so many horrible mistakes, I would probably be in favor of it for certain crimes, but that is not the case. Just imagine yourself being unjustly sentenced to death. How would you feel?
What many people do not realize is, while the USA as a whole still uses the DP, many states have outlawed it. Of the states that have the DP on the books as a form punishment, many have not used it in a long time. The majority of DP are done in just a few states these days.
My earlier responses were posted strictly on emotion. No one should kill anyone, but I suppose that's obvious. It happens though, so intellectually I agree that no one should be killed, but emotion sort of rules my answer on the issue when I think of the value of those closest to me like my kids and grand kids. It's a problem and innocent people are killed, no doubt.
So what should be done about this person?: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...-22-more-as-part-of-satanic-cult-9131877.html "Barbour told the newspaper she has no regrets for what she has done, adding that if she is released she “would do this again”."
