18f and 6-9 inches of snow forcasted. No problem driving in snow...but they have nothing but ditches on the sides of the roads here.
It's 8 below right now and we haven't been above zero in a couple days. Oh yeah, that's F, which I think is colder than C.
Shit...I don't even know how cold it was today. I think we started at -3f and warmed up to 15 or so. I was just too busy to worry about it today.
It wasn't too bad today. How sad is that? When you consider 15 not too bad. Tomorrow is supposed to be really nice. You'll be working in your undies. hahaha.
No shit! We were talking about that yesterday at work. I was like...hey...it's only going to be below zero for the early hours!! Party!! Why the hell do I live here?
12 degrees right now. I had a fireplace installed last year (2012) and was hoping for some really cold weather so I could test it out to see how warm it would keep my entire house even in brutal cold. Last year it barely made it into the low twenties a couple of times. Now I know it will definitely keep the whole main level nice and warm but this cold every damn day is starting to get old. Oh look, more snow.
I saw the forecast for the next week and I was like "fuck yeah. 20's!!!!" Right now my phone says 0. Real feel 0. I think that's the first time those 2 temps have been the same in weeks. I ask myself this question almost daily. I know exactly why I'm stuck here. He's sleeping upstairs right now.
I can move to Cali-fucking-fornia any time I want but I have this whole band thing going and I own a local business so that kind of keeps me here. Good reasons but still...
Unfortunately the only place I would consider moving has just as shitty weather as we do so I wouldn't be getting away from that. I would just live somewhere that is a hell of a lot more fun than this place.
Southern snow usually melts fast, but at 15, salt on the roads is worthless. It doesn't matter; there's nowhere to go anyway. Nothing is open for business today.
3f now... it was -4 when I got up this morning. Deer were standing in the side yard with a WTF look on their faces.
