Some of these threads have discussed "size" as it refers to a man's more private body parts. So, I will pose this question, to the men! When you see another man naked, do you note the size of his Penis? This is something many men would not want to admit in person, but in the safety of this site, I would like to hear from men who will be completely honest on this point! I will save my own opinion for later, but let me ask it again! Men, do you notice the size of other men's cocks?
Oh, sure. I really can't help it. As a grower (not a shower), I have a small flaccid penis, and as a kid the only penises I ever saw were flaccid, most of which were bigger than mine. So, I felt bad in comparison; it added to all the other ways I felt bad about myself. It was a major issue with me. I hated going to the showers after gym. To feel better, I would look at photos of Greek statues, which looked a lot like me, minus the muscles . Now that I'm way older, I still wish my flaccid penis was bigger, but since I'm happy with the size of my erection, I don't care that much any more. In fact, I've done my share of public nudity.
Yes, I compare sizes. I envy the men who are well endowed, and I'm always happy to see others like myself who aren't. I was 55 before I got onto social nudity because of my belief that I was unusually small, but looking at photos on a nudist Web site showed me that most men aren't built all that big.
I admit, I do it compulsively. I don't know why; it's murder on my ego. Okay, it probably wouldn't hurt quite so much as staring at their bank balances would, but it's definitely in the same ballpark.
Why not? It's not as though you aren't going to see it. At nudist resorts, you will see what the other guy(s) have whether you intently focus or not, as it is part of the overall picture. I personally don't care what other guys have by way of size, I am more interested in the person rather than the physique.
As some others have said, it's often difficult not to notice if you're standing next to someone in the urinals. It's not something I go out of my way to do, though. Some people would find that a bit intrusive.
That is a very good point, but I haven't been to a nudist beach for years. However, as I think you are suggesting, even in those situations it's not as if it's something that you are seeking out. It's just something that's there.
Evolving_N: In my experience, nudist beaches are the more troublesome of say beaches vs resorts or private campgrounds or places for nudist gatherings, and I think people might need to keep an open mind that they will be watched — possibly even intently, by some types that gravitate to the idea (in terms of titilation rather than civilized relaxation as real nudists enjoy) of people swimming, playing or lying nude. This means males or females. A long time users of nudist beaches, I speak from experience that I have had quite a few unwelcome advances (that means being touched and photographed on the sly) just by minding my own business. Resorts on the other hand have a lot more decorum and higher expectations of the behaviour of patrons. I much prefer resorts or private areas for nudity rather than the beach I am accustomed to going to (for more than 40 years); having said that, I will still hurry for the beach on a stinking hot day as anywhere else to get my kit off is a 100km-plus drive!
When i take showers at the gym I usually take a quick peak at other guys'/men's penises, to see whether they are cut and what size they are. It almost goes automatically and I more often than not notice other guys doing the same. I am by no means hung but very happy with my fellow. I have looked at my dad's penis when I was young and belive have got a bigger one than he does!
I not only notice, I look for it immediately, although surreptitiously. I suspect this is true for lots of guys
I think it's just a guy thing. We have to look, have to compare. It does help to know about growers and showers. Of course, as a grower, I'm in awe at those 'big, ole floppy' ones. Also figured out that they don't have wrinkles, where us growers usually have lots of wrinkles.
I too think it is human nature to look and compare and women do it too. It isn't politically correct to look at either gender bits but both do it, without doubt. My ex-missus used to love to check out the "willies" even draw my attention to big ones and it is interesting that decades later I still remember one or two of the really big ones. I guess because it was a topic for discussion later for us, followed by a right good shag for us both. The guys with the really big ones are always proud of their wares and more than happy with the looks they get, what is strange is the guys with really small ones, don't give a monkeys. I figure I am somewhere in the anonymous middle of the road. Interesting what Jim said that those which are growers are wrinkled, never thought about it that way, but I guess he is right.
I don't think "political correctness" has anything to do with it. I think people are just naturally shy about being seen looking too closely at someone's genitals. At my age, however, I no longer worry about such things. I love the human body and I don't hide the fact of my looking ... at all parts of it. I love looking at men's penises ... their elbows ... their lips .. their ears ... their entire body. I think penises are beautiful, and I don't hide the fact that I enjoy seeing them. I don't sit there and "compare", however. I just sit there and enjoy.
I do look but not as a separate item rather as a part of the body. All bodies are beautiful whether male or female. It is amazing the diversity of the human body
of course I look, it's only human nature to do so. When I was younger I was really embarrassed to be a "grower" and the owner of a very average sized penis. As I have gotten older I have found that I am more like everyone else and since my wife is happy with what I have then I am too. Interestingly enough, it is my feet that I am most embarrassed about people seeing not my penis. when I was a teenager I had a terrible issue with ingrown toenails on both of my big toes so I had to have surgery to remove them and the doctor cut out part of the roots so that they would not grow inwards any more. Now I have small, misshaped toenails on both of my big toes and they are ugly as sin to me. I am more self conscious about them then the size of my penis. It would be interesting to find out what other men are most embarrassed about people seeing when they are naked, we may find out that it is not the size of their penis but something completely different.
