i don't know about strange beliefs, but some of the things i was born remembering from previous lives that didn't exist yet in this world then, have since come into existence here now. including these computers and internet.

i know that doesn't exactly come into the catigory of beliefs. well not completely.

i remember before i could walk and talk, i saw a lot of the kind of spirit things dogs and cats do. and they didn't look anything like human people nor what any religion says either. i'd sort of completely forgotten about that until just now, and i think it may have only happened a few times.

i think that's the problem i have with religions, because i know there are things other then the way we think we know and they have nothing to do with what any religion says either.

When I was little there was a tapestry hanging on the wall showing a Scottish Terrier standing at an angle that showed the tuft of hair sticking out above its eye.
It seemed the tapered tuft of hair went on forever and when I stared at it I felt like I was falling into eternity, so I wouldn't look at it.

I went thru a phase where I was afraid my mother was an impostor pretending to be my mother and I kept asking her what her name was so I could be positive it was really her.

Yeah, I can relate. But frankly it can be argued how much that was a thought of my own. I was kinda raised with everything being black/white, either right or wrong.
