Posting on one or viewing? I don't use it myself but I've been thinking about posting on tumblr. The reason why I don't have an account yet is that I have the feeling it might be a waste of time in the end.
A guy that I work with is on it for at least 7 out of 12 hours at work when things are quiet on weekends. He looks up cooking and crafts stuff. I haven't checked it out thoroughly yet.
I used to use it a lot more, it can be quite time consuming. So many hours at work where spent pinning all the things. But there's useful things there. I've made a lot of recipes, there's cool DIY projects and it helps me visualize what I want my home to look, once I own a place. The rest is daydreaming, nostalgia and things that make me happy.
I agree about recipes and DIY stuff. I also have a wedding board, who knows, might come in handy one day.....
I waste enough time on social media so I'm afraid to look at more. And I heard it is more of a girl thing anyway.
I would like to see some of the fav recipe and DIY things if you have any you'd like to share. I think if I had a pinterest myself I'd not share any of that stuff. Probably because I don't have intriguing recipes or DIY tips to share AT ALL...
I don't have that much DIY stuff posted, I've mostly made like kids crafts and homemade scrubs or some jig along those lines. There's a couple of furniture type things that I'd like to attempt to do someday. I have hundreds and hundreds of recipes there, I wouldn't even know what to share. I've probably made 20? 30? Here's the whole board for food: http://www.pinterest.com/Auraleeeeee/eat-drink/ There's all kinds.
i made an account but never got into it.. i suppose its a good thing tho because i spend too much time on the internet already :-/
I had a wedding board and it helped immensely when it came to DIY planning and decorating. I honestly got most of my ideas from Pinterest boards and just tweeked them to my own taste and style. For awhile I pinned clothes I liked and recipes I wanted to try, and home decorations I wanted, but I don't honestly use it much anymore. I was pretty obsessed with it while I was planning my wedding but now I mess with it very infrequently.
I have an account, but I don't look at it very often these days. The pinterest fails are my favorite.
I used to pin stuff a lot but i havent in a while. I still pop in occasionally when i'm feeling crafty for diy ideas
I don't find it to be particularly addictive compared to say...facebook or hipforums. I find that whenever I'm on it's not a waste of time because I tend to get inspired to actually do something or I learn about what others are doing. I have a few boards, I'm not sure how many. I should use it more, I like making pictures to pin, but I just rarely do it unless I have a really good reason to do so.
I go in spurts. Sometimes I'll go on there and look for a few hours at a time. Then I'll go weeks without looking at it all. It's one more website to waste my time but I have gotten some good recipes and ideas from there.
