I think the high was about 12 here today. That felt much better than -17 yesterday. It felt like it was 30 degrees today and I didn't even have to wear all of my cold weather gear.

my eyelashes started freezing together as i scraped the car off this morning.

 

It was 3 degrees *contrary to the news. NYC broke a 20 year record low "at 4 degrees". I know this is not as cold as some places I've been but....

The thing that sucks is the pressure changes. It was 12 degrees the other day, then 55 degrees yesterday, then 3 today. My head felt like it was going to explode. The primary doctor I work for had to go home because it caused him a terrible ear ache and swollen ear drum. Ugh!!

Honestly, anything below 21°C (with pure sunshine) feels cold to me. It's about -18°C here and I'm crying!

We're on our 3rd day of school cancelations. With the windchill factor it's -51. We're on severe frostbite advisory , says any uncovered skin will be able to be frostbitten in 3 minutes. We had 5 minutes, but the temperatures keep plummeting so now it's just 3. Oh dear, my car starts but it doesn't wanna, I've already jumped 2 others from work. You know who I feel badly for? The post office delivery workers. I simply cannot imagine going from each post. I'm just really running from door to door. Oh boy, the weather here is just plain, nasty and dangerous cold.
