Brits vs. Americans

The opposite for me, Rat. I tend to speak better than I write. My writing was okay thirty years ago. It has gotten worse since.

It must suck to feel so inferior, to constantly be hating.

I meet a lot of people from overseas at work and people from england and eastern european countries tend to be very rude.

But theres also a shit load of rude 'muricans as well.

this is the most pointless argument though. no one will ever win

 

But people feel the need to defend their country, whatever it takes.
That is what makes threads like these funny, even though it's pointless.

Yeah that's usually more fun, but the thing is that I don't hate everything about America. There are many good things as well, but who really wants to hear those?

 

Just as soon as pot is legalized in every state here, the u.s. will be just as good as the Netherlands. Legalization is coming soon - hit me up when you defect to the u.s. Bird.

 

I don't smoke marijuana, but if you can get rid of that crap weather I'll think about defecting.

Birds are amazing animals. They can migrate at any thinkable scenario.

 

I don't smoke either. Used to. Yeah, the weather sucks at least some of the time in most of the u.s.

I've liked and disliked too many of both in my travels to make any generalizations. I will say I like Brit pool tables better. And that's important.

 

For really good measure the dutch should be included in the equation. Brits and americans might not like the results though...

 

I always thought Nederlanders were the happiest western culture. Maybe that's because they don't have to where wooden shoes anymore - jk. Seriously for some reason I thought that was true about being the happiest.

 

Just looked it up...the Netherlands is the 4th happiest country in the world.
