Our main crop is wheat, although we do own a few animals - and no we don't terrace the hillsides. Yes I wed both my husbands in one ceremony.
If it is a lifestyle that works for you and one that you enjoy then it is one that should make you happy. While there is nothing wrong with wanting to make your partner and yourself a home and do nice things for each other, if it is not reciprocated then for most people it does not work out well.
